Yeh it looks cool yeah it's big but if you run an I pad mini 1 and get into any sort of fight you will probobly get 15 fps making it almost impossible to do anything because your constantly fighting your tablet can you just put a switch in options that lets you disable big maps like lost temple if you don't have the new processor

All maps are 500 x 500 meters. Lost Temple is the same size as all the other maps and i play on an iPhone 4s and dont experience lag like what you described when i am on my 3G celluler data

Fps drop is your devices fault and partially WG for not optimizing the game.

Lag is your internet connection.

What? You jealous?

This seems like an odd issue. As stated by the previous posters, check your internet connection. Also be sure that you don't have any background programs running on your device.

If you can't find a solution and the issue persists, contact Support.

Good luck! :honoring:

Have you tried a hard reset of the device (holding both the Lock and Home button for about 5 seconds until the device turns off)? That almost always helps.

I sometimes drive Warships too.

I do wish, like other games, there were switches or setting to turn off some effects. I don't need smoke from destroyed tanks for example. Especially in sniper mode when a tank is killed right in front of you and the rate drops to 5-10fps making everything stop motion.

I suspect it's the fact that lost temple is more dense with buildings, rocks, trees, etc than other maps. And the buildings themselves are more complicated shapes than other buildings in other maps where they are mostly boxes. So there are more things the system has to render on average than other maps. The performance of that is generally dependent on the graphics chip in the device.

The graphics hardware in the iPad Mini 1 is pretty underpowered for this kind of game.

Is that correct?  There are 6 grid boxes so I was assuming the mini-map is 600x600 with each box 100m square.  That would make the full size maps 600x600 wouldn't it?

Lost Temple is one of the more terrible maps.

I don't like that the buildings are indestructible, and the fact that mediums don't have a good role due to the amounts of dark alleys the buildings create.

I am playing on an iPad 3 and I have no problems. I sometimes get an FPS slowdown with smoke as well, but only occasionally and no more on this map than any other.

Also I like this map! It is beautiful and has quite a few tactical options.

I don't agree on meds not having a role - 1/2 of the map is open rolling hills. Meds can flank around the edges nicely if the enemy puts nothing on the flank - I know because it has worked for me many times in my IS-3. I know it's a heavy, but it's a very mobile heavy!

Sure you can, but when the heavy flank falls first, and most of the enemy is grouped up at close quarters, mediums don't have a good chance to turn the tide.

Also, the cap circle is protected by rocks and fences, making it difficult to reset.

You don't get to choose the layout of your wars.    You go to war with the map you have, not the map you wish you had!

A famous war monger from the bush administration said something very very similar.

? The medium just flank across the open/creek, clear out enemy mediums and campers, then continue across the back of enemy heavies.  Fairly typical of a map.  Or you can play a close support, stay by the entrance to the temple from either side as your heavy advances, wait until enemies are spotted, then flank around the central temple courtyard.
