Only been at it for less than a year but doing ok.Looking to piece together a good clan instead of just filling it up as fast as i can.Would be good to have a clan where you know all the guys different styles and maybe learn from some guys who have been around and can mentor guys with potential.Clan is named after the Canadian regiment of the same name.Regiment was slaughtered at the battle of Versailles in 1944 and had to be rebuilt. It is still in existence today and i am forming this clan in their honour.I know there are alot of clans to choose from but at least give this one a look.I have really latched onto the DW2(so much fun) but have all kinds of good tanks right up to tier 8.All styles welcome but im hoping to have quite a few guys who prefer to be aggressive and can teach me which tanks to respect at higher tiers. If you want to join the Royal Highland Regiment ( the regimnts formal name ) message me ..Bongslinger..ingame

Not splitting hairs....the blackwatch has never been Canadian...Scottish highlander light infantry regiment started in 1881 and disbanded in 2006. Good luck recruiting! o7

Nawww its all good bro...truth of the matter is alot of people forget that Canada was originally as much a British colony as it was French. The English monarch  still adorns our money. That being said the Black Watch of Canada (RHR) was formed in Montreal in 1862. It is a reserve infantry regiment in 34 Brigade Group of the 2nd Canadian Division of the Canadian Army.It initially was formed from the 5th Battallions Volunteer Militia Rifleman of Canada. The government was concerned with American strength during the Civil War and authorized the formation of militias. The 6 Scottish chieftains in Montreal raised an infantry company for the 5th Battlallion and 2 additional infantry companys were added later to form their border service. The regiment can stillbe found today on Bleury St. In Montreal, Quebec. They are directly linked to the original parent regiment formed in 1739 to protect the Scottish Highlands. They still serve to this day in Afghanistan.Oh and thanks i hope to have a pretty good clan some day :)

It was the Canadian regiment i was referring to that was slaughtered in 1944 at the battle of Verrieres Ridge  sadly returning to base with only 15 survivors ,not at Versailles as i said in my original post. They left the assembly  area to try and take the ridge with 325 men .Very sad..A good watch is a documentary of the battle called The Valour and the Horror.
