When I was about to buy a new tank, I was curious about how much crew training would cost and couldn't find this information listed anywhere, so I decided to compile it all here. Some values still need to be filled in and I won't add crew training costs for Tiers 2 and 3 as it is really no needed. (I tend to train to 75% crew at Tier 5 and above). And Tier 1 tanks start with 100% crew already. 

 

Experience to get 100% crew skill:

• tier 2: 2700 
• tier 3: 7600
• tier 4: 18300
• tier 5: 36000
• tier 6: 83000
• tier 7: 139000
• tier 8: 250000
• tier 9: 455000
• tier 10: 540000

 

Credits to get 75% crew skill:

• tier 2:
• tier 3:
• tier 4:  30,000
• tier 5:
• tier 6:   75,000
• tier 7:   100,000
• tier 8:
• tier 9:   160,000
• tier 10:  200,000

 

Gold to get 100% crew skill:

• tier 2: 
• tier 3: 
• tier 4:  350
• tier 5:  450
• tier 6:  550
• tier 7:  650
• tier 8:  750
• tier 9:  850

Does anyone have a list of how much it costs to train crews at the different tiers? Credits for 75% crew and gold for 100% crew would be useful. I'm trying to figure out how much I need to grind if I want to take advantage of the 20% off crew training. I see a brand new shiny T110E5 in my future. Though it will take even longer to grind out the credits for the equipment. I searched the forum and couldn't find anything.

I don't know the prices off the top of my head, but

1) The more crew, the more money

2) It is around 75,000 - 100,000 credits for 75%

Crew prices/Consumable prices/Equipment prices are all based on tier.

There here was a new article about what crew training does. But it didn't list costs.

The last couple of posts give the costs for training to 100% with gold for the top 3 tiers- nothing about credits or lower tiers unfortunately.

Ah yes, your right about gold costs... but they didn't have the credit costs for the 75% training. Thanks for taking the time to post.

 

I'm a little surprised we don't have a comprehensive list somewhere.

 

How about this, if you have a tank that isn't already at 100% look up the cost for 75% and 100% training and post it here, i'll compile it.

Happy to help - wish I could have offered a more comprehensive answer.  I completely agree, it would be nice if the costs were more readily available.  I'm also thinking about taking advantage of the discount - but it would be nice to know what the discount is off of!

Tier 7 is 100k credit and 650 gold.

 

You don't need to use gold for tier 6 and below,  the grind is still ok, and anything below 100k credit is just pocket change.

 

Tier 7 and above its where it gets a bit extreme on the xp.  Guess WG need to make the cash some how.

Thanks for the input. And I agree with you that lower tier tanks don't make as big of a difference to buy crew training, but thought it'd be nice to give the community a full list.

Just Bought a the M46 Patton so I could fill in the Tier 9  75% training for credits. If anyone is using the sale to train crew this weekend, please let me know what your costs were!

To add some to the table:

75% crew training credits:

Tier 3: 20,000

Tier 5: 55,000

Tier 8: I should have this this weekend and will replace this

I'm purchasing a T32 American Heavy, and while I have the credits for the tank itself, I don't know how much it costs to train the crew. I'm grinding for the credits, and I'm guessing I need about 50K. If someone doesn't tell me before I grind, buy, and find out, I'll put the 75% training cost here.
