The MT-25 is a strange little tank.  All three guns are pretty good 57mm pumps our 20 rounds a minute and the APCR has a whopping 189 Pen which will pen most tanks. Great for circle of death and all around hit and run tactics.

76 mm is another solid performer with AP 125 pen and a solid 9.23 rpm. Great peekaboo gun and solid DPM.

The 45 mm is a hoot though. Definitely run to the back of the enemy when they are otherwise busy and 8 rounds to the back of the turret or in the rump.  I pack 24 of the APCR when I am running this game because you get loads of ammo so might as well be loaded for bear.  80 AP and 16 HE for soft targets.  Kind of useless at distance but a fun gun when you get up close and personal in their rear.  When people get hit with 8 shells in about 5 seconds it definitely gets their attention especially if you get a full roll of 440 damage.  Useless against upper tier heavies head on so don't even try. I estimate I get about 30% bounces in a game.  All in all an enjoyable tank.  Not a great earner using the 45mm when you have to start slinging Pramo but very enjoyable with all 3 guns. Don't know the gun depression but suspect it sucks like most Russian tanks.  If you drive other Rusky medians like the T-34 than you know how to drive this.  Basically I make my money on the KV2 an burn it in this thing slinging Pramo at Heavies. in upper tier battles.

I run Camo, Coated optics, will get Vents when I get money. Big Repair kit and little repair kit and Extinguisher. Provisions standard Combat rations, Milk and improved fuel.

In the right hands its op,  I seen one today literaly wreck a whole team of heavys today, me included.  It just stayed out of view range and clipped 400 alpha at a time until all 6 heavys were dead.  I suspect a nerf comeing eventually, enjoy it while it last.

I just got this tank and I don't get it. Granted, it's mostly stock and has 80% crew, but I think my Tier V T34 performs much better. Maybe once I get enough XP for the engine upgrades and the autoloader I'll like it more.

I bought it back and do ok in it...i must admit i like playing it...it puts out the damage with the Autoloader.  But I also like shooting them in my kvis,  got 550 damage with one he shell wow!  but i do like to play it also.  Once or if I get good at it, might become a regular go to tank.

Yes it was running the auto cannon,  and me also.  It reminds me of the a20 at tier4,  i,m purple in it.

So once i get the hang of this one watch out reckin time!

How different or similar to the  A20 do you think? I do great in that but not so well in LTTB. So thinking of either going down to M25 or up to 54 lwt.

Stick with it.  Below is my progression in tank and I granola ground crew and modules.

Games 1-35:  38% win rate

Games 36-75:  60% win rate (50% overall)

Games 75-95:  61% win rate (52% overall) Crew hit 100%

Games 95-132:  73% win rate (58% overall)

I ran the 76mm early on because the crew skills made the 57mm and auto loader worthless.  I preferred higher alpha with reload in cover.  I mounted the auto loader at about 97% crew and it works well.  I've heard 57 is good but haven't yet run it on fully upgraded tank.

What is the advantage of the reinforced tracks?  Mine say -4 traverse speed.

i just got this little guy, and i am struggling in it bad. 1:5. It just doesn't dish out enough damage nor can it take any, AT ALL.

its almost intended to be a little camping tank. A hit and hide. Hit and run even.

I have vents and repair kit for equipment atm. trying to decide what the third will be.

I played today, now have 16 games in it...50% win rate...so far its feast or famine for me.   Die early 150 damage, or mop win and do about 2000 damage..pretty regular.   With more games I should get more consistent.  Plays just like the A20 to me with the autoloader.

Damage dealer...just take what damage you can get and move on.  Allways reload after even a couple shots.  To make those rushers pay.  Plus it reloads fast.  Make sure you stay away from the big HE gunz,  kv2, kvis, su100, etc..they will pretty much ruin your game if not one shoot you.  Allways no where the big guns are.   But at the end of games a lone any tier heavy  will regret a mt25 left on the map, just flank with its insane speed and get rear and side shots. Frontally is not the plan with this one.  If its desert or snow you will really own them.  I do run the track helpers on the loadout,  and two repair kits. Because i pretty much drive it like i stole it when i not sniping, which I try to do early and get easy shots and not take any damage, then towards the middle and end see what needs done to win the game.   Hope that helps.    The MT25 is OP.

I too just re purchased the MT-25 after an initial let down, I have a LTTB and t-50ltwt and love both of them. After playing a couple games in the MT I still can't decide if I like it. The auto cannon is pretty fun a d reloads fast enough. I'll keep it in my garage for now. I still haven't upgraded the tracks as I'm not sure what it is they do.

OK... This scout is beast! Expect a nurf on it soon . Why u say ?  I am doing a early 50% in it AND I am color blind , yup I have no hit skins in my eye, unlike you.  Also most of the time I don't know who is red and who is green !  But!!! I am STILL. doing my  50%  in this monster of the midway !   I don't get or follow the tech garb most players write about ... It means nothing to a colorblind player... All that matters is  speed and sting!  This tank has it. Too bad it can't ram anything!    Super tank!

I have a lot of fun playing this tank,  it still feast or famine with me...suk or monster game.  But its a lot of fun to play.  I have noticed inadvertantly a mt25 platoon can put out a lot of damage if played well. I still play the top tracks and the upgraded track consumable. And two track repair kits.   But if not sniping i pretty much drive around a full speed busting tracks on occasion.

So much for upgraded tracks. They break just as much as the std ones. I had three breaks in one game earlier. It's getting a tad frustrating.

Big Gunz and Ammo Rackz.

I thought track upgrade was for less ground preasure?

The description is reinforced tracks. Until WG admitted the traverse anomaly was actually wrong and wasn't actually better soft stats people were saying the top tracks were more robust.
