Noticed that "Elite tank" and "Premium tank" are actually undefined. You used "Premium tank" in the definitions, but never actually define it.

Good point, Xavier. I'll add those in to the next round of edits. Thanks!

pm a few and this one is a good one

An echelon formation is a (usually military) formation in which its units are arranged diagonally. Each unit is stationed behind and to the right (a "right echelon"), or behind and to the left ("left echelon"), of the unit ahead.

inb4 is actually used when you are basically expecting something to happen. Like "inb4 thread locked" or "inb4 banned for spam", it basically stands for 'I know before it happens'.

Tier Xs (in order of unlocking): T110E5, M48 Patton, T-62A, IS-7, E50M, IS-4, FV4202, T110E3, FV215b, Obj. 268, T110E4, Leopard 1, Obj. 140, STB-1, Obj. 263, T57 Heavy, AMX 50B, Bat Chat 25t

Most played tank: T-62A (3,100 battles)

Ok cool. Thanks. I actually used to think it meant "I know before." Now I'm all growed up.

I think TITAN_FURY is in BIA so Titan Army shouldn't exist anymore

Just being a little picky but the mini turret on to of the KV 4's turret has the same armor as the front of the actual turret so you shouldn't aim at it. The T110E5 might be a better example. (sentence in "Tumor"). Once again, just being picky

Thanks, _S3MPRIAN_. I didn't know that about Titan Army.

Regarding the KV-4, most sources point to the mini turret as a weak spot. Can you provide a link saying otherwise? If it is indeed the same thickness as the main turret, I'll switch out the example to the E5 as you suggested.

Thanks for taking the time to go through the list so carefully. It's much appreciated!

My best,

Thunder

Here is a picture from Tank Inspector. As you can see, the mini turret is the same shade of red compared to the turrest front. This happens to be 180 mm

Also another term

Feather

Verb

to move the reticule around a target to scope out a possible shot (when the red outline shows up)

Ok cool. Thanks for providing that source. I'll change the example in the next edit.

There's another way to measure a person's ability other than WN8 called Efficiency or Eff. for short. A lot of EU players use that instead of WN8, I believe.

The list has been updated. Thanks everyone for you continued contributions!

For anyone new reading this thread, many of the terms and definitions come from members of the community. Check out the contributors' section at the end of the glossary on the first page of this thread to see what I'm talking about. Anyone can leave a suggestion for a new term, or constructive criticism.

Concep, can you provide me a link to the Efficiency you're talking about. I searched around but there seem to be a lot of inspectors with "efficiency" tagged to it and I'm not sure which is the right one. Thanks!

My best,

Thunder

Is that when WG does server maintanence?

I noticed that no one answered this one.

Server maintainence is commonly called downtime if it is "soft maintainence". In other words the servers are still powered up and the maintainence focuses more on software and biagnostics.

Hard shutdown or maintainence is when the entire server system is shut down cold usually not done unless a hardware issue is found during a diagnostic.

"Engine Boost" is called "Engine Power Boost" and can be abbreviated as EPB
