If the idea was that the top two of every tier would move forward.. well, then it's a simple "Yes".  We fielded 7 players for every match, readied up for every match, and "won" every match with the exception of our match with AFK - in which they won (on Mines, first 'tour'..) after battling to a 3/7 win.

Only the top team (1) moved onto the second stage. From Stage 2, due to math, the top 2 teams will move on.

Also, ScumbagJuJu, are you on the team getting a pass on the prelims? No issue with the bye, but it is ridiculous for you to come in here telling everyone to shut up when these people actually experienced the issues with the tournament.

I was not calling you all off as useless. My point is the tournament is now underway and nothing can be changed. Afterwards, absolutely. For people to whine and complain about the tournament while it's underway is what gets under my skin. There will be a full on feedback thread when this is all over, save it for then.

Fes up to what? Being on one of the "12 Invite" teams that are clearly stated in the news section and rules?! It's out in the open and transparent. Read it again, in the announcement verbatim it says "12 invitational teams". So what exactly am I fessing up too?

Seems Totally Awesome so far.

Maybe when the Herd thins.

Will you be able to post/update using a playoff style bracket system current standings?

Noticed a ton of Teams not showing up.

Maybe some form of a Retainer can be applied. If everyone shows, no charge. If not, charged.

Will the Winner get to go to the WhiteHouse, get photo with the President?

From the first tournament, it's more straightforward than that. You can log in, ready up and play without issue. The game simply presents touch controls when the countdown ends. You have to manipulate the joystick and the fire button with your mouse, meaning that you can't turn your turret or fire while you're on the move.

 

Judging by the cries of despair that were coming from the three guys on PC in the first tourney, it was pretty frustrating.

Only two things to say, which many others have said. Teams should be larger like 10. All battles should be fought regardless of full roster.

feedback, couldn't join due to game doesn't work on phone, support is currently working on the problem. they say until a fix is ready to use my pc.

This is a game,  enjoy it, and stop panicking.

I suggest that the tournament use Supremacy mode in the future. No ties. No being defensive. Or you could have some games encounter and some supremacy.

Fessing up that your clan got a free pass to round 3.

 


 

Yes it clearly state 12 invite teams, but that just means a spot is reserved for one of the 512 teams.  There no indication of anything more.


 

There is no indication that I see that says 12 invite teams automatically advance to round 3. (Please show me that statement)  Full disclosure and transparency would have had explicitly written that the 12 teams get to advance to round 3.


 

Point me to where it says the 12 invite teams get to advance to round 3 without fielding a team or even competing.

 

 

ScumbagJuJu-I'm a man of principles and this bugs me.  The best analogy is that you need to think of your clan as the 1%.  It's NEVER good to cater to the 1%.  That is exactly what has happened.

 

Hope you can understand the view of the 99%ers.  lol
