All hill every game. That's it. Reduced elevation on opposite side, coupled with more cover on hill will result in exactly the same thing as old rockfield. Stupid. Do these people who design the maps even play the game?

I don't know if it's worse or if the teams have simply gotten that much dumber.

There's two problems that I see:

1) Some people are going for low ground first (cap valley) and they get shot up fast from the enemy above.

2) With the influx of lights, some people rush towards the brawling zone and attempt to duke it out with the heavies (IS spam) in their RU251s or SP 1 Cs.

The E-25, skill ceiling so high it's in the next tier (basically, it's OP when used to its max. potential)

Just another demo account, nothing to see here

I think the new copper field is quite entertaining. People tend to go away from the hill now in my opinion.

old copperfield was the last map of the original split team meta. Mediums had to go to the other side and duke it out, or else one side would have a field day shooting across.

The nubbins seem to be fascinated with the bowl now, not sure why, as that aspect hasn't changed much. Go middle, get rekt. Maybe it's too soon to tell, but I get the feeling it will develop into most battles on the hill, just like the new rockfield has developed into most fights on the side away from the bunkers.

R.I.P. split team meta, you will be sorely missed.

This 1000 times over. Copperfield is a terrible map. It's still too small, cover/concealment is limited, it's flat. At tier ten, it's just a joke. Spotting can occur from across the map. Please limit it to lower tiers still.

I like the cover. Even the potatos I played with yesterday all went down.. as far as I could tell.Mostly alone towards the end of games there. This was in tier 2 matches only. If I could see farther in like a 6-7 match.. hmm. I can see how that might be fun.. I mean trouble.

I liked it driving scooters though. Nobody talked for 10 matches..

Even t2 matches we were spotting things all the way across though. the NE corner always had surprises though. I can'r see this map being fun for anything above t5.

It's just way too open. Played one match in it and realized this as soon as I got out of spawn. Red team all rushed our spawn, while we had 5 guys back there and i flanked with another light tank. Their sides were 100% open from my location and they could easily shoot me in return. Map seems way too flat now

i regret saying this as I did not like old copperfield, but this map is not an improvement.

There are definitely small noticeable changes, but with everyone still trying to run old metas it's gonna take a while to settle in, like mill of winter malinovka - f*** that.
Win, lose, or draw - I'm gonna make it hurt.

I also love the new map

Before, the valley was a last resort for attempts at escape but you couldn't really use it to get anywhere.  You were too far down to get shots on anyone if you found yourself there.  Now it isn't the best way but I can see some opportunities where the battle can end up taking place there.

In reality the sides of the map were and are the most important parts, but now you don't have to go into ridiculous corridors and trade shots while hiding in a safe zone from the opposite end of the map.  There are lots of crossfire opportunities all over the place.  Now TDs and snipers have something more to do than either hide at the edges or try to shoot 90° across the map through a gap in terrain.

This map still sucks. WARGAMING needs to take it out of the rotation. The spawns are not balanced and the problems of the old map still exist. Delete it WARGAMING.

The map revision was a waste of dev time. Very poorly executed. Bigger, but so symmetrical it isn't even funny (every quadrant is a mirror image), way too wide open, no cover anywhere, no foliage, they didn't even put the vehicles back in ...

Whichever team rushes one way wins.

Exactly!  Every so called improvement is a step backwards. When will these guys learn to test things first before they add them to updates? With no input from the very people affected is a sure sign that they really don't care what they do to their customers. Adding glitches to their product has become a real art form for these guys!

Everyone has something that they can contribute, even some idiots.

It is hard to have the strength of character to do the right thing in all situations.

Defending the weak even if you risk getting hurt is about the most noble thing one can do.

It is rare to find people today that live by those three thoughts!
