Yeah it sucks and it's too small and caters to Russian MEDS but that's been true for every map they've ever released

It's fine... the current meta seems like the one of Mirage:

-Heavies hold their lines

-mediums/fast tanks flank

-TDs camp in back

-if flankers run into a lemming train team almost always loses automatically

-middle=death

Old Copperfield Map was 100% better than the current Copperfield Map.

No it wasn't. It was too small. New rockfield is still a little small but it's a step in the right direction. 

A well placed heavy in the middle can wipe out a whole team trying to go to the low end of the map. Lots of good places to sidescrape and duck behind all over.

I think its a conspiracy on wg part to shorten games...to get more game turnover.

More turnover, more money, less cover shorter games.

But thats just me ... imho

The rework of Copperfield is an improvement from it's previous format, but, I don't think they should have changed the tiers that see the map.  It's still no good for higher tier play, IMO.

If you mean in aesthetics, then yes the rework is better. However, the rework failed to improve game play, which I believe was the point.

I respectfully disagree. I think it did improve game play.....but only for the lower tiers.

I'm not a fan of the rework so far due to the tremendous amount of wasted space on the map.  I do agree that the gameplay is better for me though with both medium tanks and TD's, however, my heavies find it hard to avoid direct lines of fire.

 

I never make a final determination until everyone has played a map enough for the metas to take hold.  Right now, every one of my teams does something different so it's hard for me to figure it out.  I am glad that they tried to make Copperfield better and for me, only time will tell if it truly is.

Not really impressed. You made it bigger but also blander. All the maps are beginning to feel the same too : just so many trails weaving around big rocks.

I actually like the new Copperfield. I was skeptical at first but it's not as bad as I thought it would be.

They need to think more Yamato harbor and less like this map. I mean it is ok the color palate is now bland and it is basically lights/meds left out of right side spawn, td's in back and heavies up to the center above the cap. But there is always that time the entire team on either side will all try to flank so it's an ok map. I personally do not care for it now the way it is but I am sure there are maps others do not like as well.

I agree the new map is just not interesting, but neither was the old version.  Time to dump it for something new.

Copperfield is...let's face it, broken down to a atomic level. It's a boring, bland, hard to balance map design. This new version is easier on heavies, and TDs at least have some sniping to do, but heavy TDs like the Jagdtiger and Ferdi who are used to pushing up with the heavies often find themselves getting shot from several directions at once. It's a step in the right direction, but Copperfield is still pretty bland and broken

I actually agree with you, but never felt it was bad at lower tiers. It is my belief that the purpose of the rework was to make it better for higher tiers, but it failed to do so. So, they need to just leave it for lower tiers or remove it all together. Another option is to. Make it a new map that looks nothing like the original. They can start with a blank canvas.

Tell you one thing if MM decides it's time for you to lose a battle there is Nothing you can do to stop it on that map now.
