What's being done to address the messed up shot mechanics from 3.2?  Everyone I play with is complaining about it.  I bounced four perfectly placed AP shells in my hull-down tier x E4 last night, into the stationary sides of a tier 9!

I have had this happen at least once.  Granted - all cases were Russian tanks, and those suckers can shoot right out of the bloom, or dribble out the barrel... so, Russian accuracy!

Lucky was the IS-8 I  bounced 5 APCR and HEAT shells off the sides of last night in my T-62a. No red spots, no troll armor, perfect 90 degree angle. Bounce.

I totally agree with Java. This problem existed before the update but in the past ten days I noticed that it's much worse now. I've been bouncing APCR and HEAT like hell, sometimes several in a row. Shoot mechanics is completely unpredictable right now.

So, with each update content is added which is very cool.  But with it has come changes that in most cases have reduced the ability to enjoy playing this game.

I miss the auto aim from the older updates, I have had so many shots jump because a tank moves into my previously target tanks area... Had a 83% hit rate before they changed the auto aim mechanics. Also aiming and firing at 'grey-areas' that bounce from a flat surface does frustrate me when it happens.

To be clear, I'm not talking about lag (I have Google Fiber and run at an insane ~ 975 MBPS), snap shots, shots on the run, guns with high dispersion values, using HEAT/HESH, shooting at odd angles etc.  I'm talking about PERFECTLY-AIMED shots at point-blank range that don't even trigger the voice over AT ALL, and it happening 2-4 times in a row with both my tank and the other tank perfectly stationary.

About every other shot of mine is a second later. This delay is bad. 50 Ping the whole time.

I actually like the change. So many bounces or non penetrating shots now makes certain tanks so much better due to the spaced armor change! That said they may have gone just a little overboard, but it's far better than before.

Yes, ghost shots and what not. It actually seems like lag almost.... But it's not. Hard to explain.

 

NA damage record holder for the Jg.Pz.E100 (because I camped and the reds ran into my shells)

Ok, so this is the ghost shell problem, it has persisted for a few updates now, and seems to come groups, frustrating to say the least. :deer:

Holy shiz... thought it was just me!!!!  My toonmate BOUNCED off the flat rear side of a Cent 7/1 with a 183!!!  Then he bounces again with heat a few matches later with a 268 on the fv42.  Same exact location.  I bounced off the front plate of a type 62 with heat from the RHM Borsig!!!!  Then a couple matches later same problem with a t23. Like CMON!!!  This is all from just a recent outing.  I can't tell you how much I've had this issue since 3.2, it's happened that often.  Ghost shells and shooting outside the bloom is also abundant.

 

TNL from DD sent in his help ticket for these very issues and they sent him (62% player) a GD shot mechanix video.  TWICE.  Then asked him to take a pic of the incidents like wth?????  WG is denying a problem but you know what I see?  More money for WG.  WHY?  Because shooting more prammo = $$ for WG.  It all adds up.

 

FIX IT WG!!!!!

Can someone from wargaming please weigh in on this?  Most of the people in the thread are unicums with 60%+ win rates and 20,000+ games, so we know when something is not right.
