I'm getting a weird lag spike every 3 games or so where I loose control of the tank and it just keeps going in the dirrection I was headed (if I'm not moving when it happens, I'm frozen, if I'm moving I can't stop till the spike ends, but my ping numbers aren't going up, they just stay the same at around 60 the whole time. Spike usually lasts for 10-20 seconds and eberything around me isn't lagging or frozen, but I can't shoot or control my tank. Anyone else getting this or just me? Is it a server thing?

Oh man it also happens to me except the part where you just mention every 3 battles.

It's one of two things:

1. An extremely high lag spike or loss of connection

2. A control bug

I was experiencing this last night with 12k people online. I waited an hour for it to drop down to 9k. It worked after that. Just an extremely high amount of people on because of night hunt

Every American in the game. Bar none. Quite proud of that.

Bullets have a name on them, grenades are addressed “to whom it may concern”, but artillery only comes in “reply all”.

Frankly, I think that's your wifi network being overloaded.  Ping is a very small packet and can get scheduled in between big data packets pretty easily.  The regular game-control packets can get scheduled separately (if I recall correctly) and thus, could be being delayed even when ping is going through.  I see this on my own network when someone is streaming video.  Ping is OK, but I lose control/stutter.

My networking knowledge is a bit sketchy, but at least it's a theory.

I've had the same experience in the past. I usually get pretty good ping (50-100) and sometimes it just completely lags out without the ping ever going above 150. I dunno how to fix it or why it happens though.

I think other players in the match you are in might effect the ping and lag too, had some battles where it laged till Someones tank blew up. Ping was ok after that....
