Saw some lag spikes this morning at 10:54 am and 11:00 am. Problems look to be in WG data Center. Look at hop 10

I do not know if this is related but I saw an Internet outage on the east coast.

Been some serious "denial of service" attacks across the East Coast, more attacks spread across the US.

Now add the crush of players trying to win any Halloween tank before the event closes, or they lose their Premium Time, and there you go.

I wasn't in-game during that timeframe but my ISP in SE Virginia hasn't seen any issues. Current traceroute has NO skips with 60 ping.

The forums are now a lawless wasteland, rife with puerile virtue signaling neckbeards; praised by their enablers.

Dyn had their bit resolved on Friday so that shouldn't have been the issue, but may have contributed.

Note that the offending hop looks to be in WG's data center.

10 dc11-n5596-fe-1-vl231.fe.core.pw (92.223.118.163) time=1438 ms
11 dc11-sl-a35.fe.core.pw (162.216.228.35) time=50 ms

That's only one hop before the login server - two at the most, so it's either in their data center or it's their network provider.

Ive seen a lot of players saying their ping is low and causing lag, etc.

I must be having a totally different issue as I seem to always have a problem getting to the login page of wotb.

This has happened a lot recently even with the so called new patch updates, ive even re downloaded the client 3 to 4 times now.

White screen finally loads up to WG then say identifying region ,connecting then Wotb self closes itself . Repeating several time to no avail.

I cant get a fix for this either;  happens daily when I try.

kinda sucks when I only have a few days premium account and not getting to use it.

Ugh DMD

Please go do what I did. Do a trace route to login.wotblitz.com - if you are on iOS download a free app called Network Ping Lite - on Android the same app is called Mocha Ping (same app - made by Mochasoft).

Your issue sounds like a bad connection, so a traceroute is your first tool to troubleshoot it.
