I'm stuck on 52.4 right now. Mostly because I'm focusing a lot on grinding tanks. It had gone up, I think my WR will ceiling out at 53 or 54 though.

My Top Tanks: Lowe (#880), Type 61 (#834), Helsing H0 (#797), Pz. S35 739 (#778), ARL 44 (#661), T7 Car (#654), STB-1 (#502), MT-25 (#442), Excelsior (ironically(#422), M22 Locust (#322), T23E3 (#223), Pz. 38 (t) nA (#211), Alecto (#197), Pz 35 (t) (#168),

T-25 (#166), Stridsvagn 74A2 (#151), Angry Connor (#63!), T-15 (#50!), Pz. 38 (t) (#31!)

In My Garage: T-25, Tetrarch, Pz 38 (t), Pz 35 (t),  SU-122-44, Helsing H0, Kuro Mori Mine, Pz IV Anko SP, E 50 M, T7 Car, T2 Light, Locust, T-15, Stridsvagn 74A2, T23E3, Angry Connor, Lowe, Leopard 1, 112, STB-1, AMX M4 45, Type 61, WT Auf Pz IV, T28 Proto

Lines I am currently grinding: T110E4 (Currently at T28 Proto), AMX 50B (Currently at AMX M4 45)

Seems we are parallel Turd, except that I am older. Your original post and the current one is what I am facing. Cheers on the climb, you have 5k more battles than me. It certainly takes time to move the WR needle up now. If you ever want to platoon, hit me up. We can climb there together, lol.

Will do.  I've moved to watching my 30/60 day as a better tracker of my progress (although right now they both look terrible).  I don't know why I hit such a lurch there in October, but my last three cohorts are back to 58%.  Prior to that I was consistently 60%+ on 30/60 days.  It's amazing how three weeks of bad games can kill your WR.  Oh well, what can you do?

The Halloween newbs were on all month. Saw those ads on TV and were like "wthI want a double barreled tank too!!1!1!". Avoid playing a lot during special events if you are trying to improve stats, some soild advice for a solo player I know.

Keep up the good work, Turd! I'm so taking on the same mission myself. It is difficult at the moment because every loss, though not felt in the win rate any more, slows you down. I'm mainly just trying to raise my colors and games played in certain tanks. I have far too many with under 100 games.

Players like you (and me, to a lesser extent) are the reason why I only really care about 30-day stats.

Nice job and keep the faith ! I am in a similar situation after a ultra noob start for too many games at first. I refused to reroll and kept working at it reaching 50% in December 2015 and 55% a month ago. Hoping for 60% a year from now.

For all those who doubt, it can be done. Continue on your quest to improve and keep us posted.

Thanks for sharing this. I'm in the same boat: trying to drag stats higher, and doing it ever so slowly. I never platoon, so I don't get that stats-boost either. I thought now I might try what I did a year ago: play one Tier relentlessly until I've got better skills. I think it might be Tier VII, because those are fun tanks. Tier VIII seems kinda crazy these days and I don't have enough IXs yet. Last time playing a lot of battles at a Tier or two below where I was at helped a lot with the skills and made the game more fun

I'm looking through the thread and I'm seeing people that have the potential to get far better than they can imagine right now, just remember if you're under 20,000 battles your stats can increase at a pretty good rate, far higher than what you anticipate right now.

ha, I'm also on a similar path as Turd.

One thing I don't pay attention to as much is my wr.  I pay more attention to all of my other stats and try not to get obsessed with wr.  I work on overall consistency and decision making.  I'll rehab any tier 3 tank or higher that is under 50 wr.

In any tank I can't carry, I work on getting better at trying to carry with that tank and also learn the nuances of that particular tank.

I can say this...I've played with Turd and the man's got game.
