Any issue I saw has been mentioned so imo it went pretty smooth as far as the function of the tournament.

Prize pool not much of a concern for me. The fact that WG offers a function to let you and your clan face others is good enough for me. CW and player made tournaments take a ton of work to set up times and TR. WG fast tracks it, gives you the function and you have at it.

As far as having to pay for credits that doesn't bother me either. You either save enough and load out to be competitive or you take an honest look at your clan and say "nope not ready for this". Not saying limit who can enter on WG part more so feedback to the participants.

TL/DR great job WG and I hope to see more features allowing you to ready up with your clan and get down to tanking.

Would be nice feature if the players on Team but not playing, could watch in Spectator Mode.

As productive as that is, I've seen your stats. You aren't even good at predicting the present.

Ran very smoothly this time. I think 128 is good number.  Can we do this on different days as well? Friday or Saturday? Also, tier limits would be nice.

This ^^ for two reasons:

(1).  Allows recording and or streaming easier, and

(2).  Allows the use of a caller not engaged in the battle.

Overall, these are a great addition to the game WG.   The tournaments, along with the player run Clan Wars, have kept many of us from bailing on your product.

Keep it coming.

good tournament overall. only gripe is that the tournament is supremacy. not a big fan of that gamemode. maybe make separate tourneys for supremacy and encounter?

I like the idea of keeping the enemy tanks a mystery until they are spotted. It's easy to determine the enemy's tactics based on their tank loadout. I know that's probably a dev problem. But still something I'd like to see one day.

One thing that we were having issues with was people who wanted to be on the team not being able to get on it because we filled up. Basically it would be nice if teams could switch out players even after they've registered. Not sure if the devs have a reason for not doing this already, but it would be nice if they considered it.

My clan had a great time registrations while still sketchy functioned well enough to field a team, without our A team we some close games against Grim in the final bracket so I am happy

Back from the dead maybe...

The skill based brackets would be nice, more fair anyways.

Also, the tier I-X gave some teams the expectation that any tier could be chosen. I realize what it means, and that any tier could be chosen (lol), but in reality some of our competitors didnt have tier X tanks and we did. I got messages that read, 'what tier?' But didnt see them until later. And so we had to choose between running tier X tanks and stomping them, or try to make it fair by matching their tiers which is a mess. They could feign not having a tier X and then switch last second, or just get rolled trying to win a tier X game with a tier 6.

I'm probably a bit late to say this but here goes anyway,

I liked the timing of the first Blitz brawl. I live in Scotland and although it was late, it wasn't so late that I couldn't take part. It worked out at 11pm to around the back of midnight. So when I found out that WG had decided in their infinite wisdom to change the starting time (at the last minute and after I'd rallied my team using the original stated time) I wasn't too happy to find out I'd be staying up til, at the very minimum 130 am.

I know, I know....

"so why do you play on NA server then?"

Well, the fact is, there are people from all over the globe who play on the NA server (We even have a South African and another guy who lives in London) in Kronos. And the original time benefits everyone, including the Americans. It's a Sunday after all. The day of rest, when everyone is at home doing nothing all day. So, please please - don't make it such a late start. 5-6 pm maybe even 7 pm Eastern is great.

I know I'm a minority but is there any chance of a compromise?

P.s.

I ended up going to bed at 2:30am, after we won our group and getting up for work at 630am. I was actually ok but the wife thinks I'm insane.

I can't comment on all the other tournaments you've scheduled, but right now I want to say WOW, that looks great! Thanks!

Well - they have not been run yet so how can anyone have any feedback on something that hasn't happened?

;)

If they continue to be run like this last one you are gold! Awesome job. I have some fancy ideas but I will wait until I am gainfully employed by WG before disclosing ;)

-the 24hr registration window seemed to be good, though perhaps a bit too long of a registration period.
-the 128 teams was good and definitely can fit in more teams.
-the later starting time was great, I for one had been unable to participate in earlier tournaments prior to this one due to IRL timings.

Yeah which is cool. I'd be curious to see how the participation will be affected by kids being on Christmas break all this week. We'll have to compare the last two weeks in December to the first weeks in Jan.

Please make it ONE TEAM to represent ONE CLAN. I don't want a spam of great clans, it's not fair. Neither would I want my clan to make 2 teams.

Isn't that the point of tournaments? To see who's best?

I say if your clan is organized enough to form more than one team, then so be it. Fair is fair. Any other clan could do the same.

How are you going to see who is the best out of 8 teams. But yeah, it is the point. The point is putting your best 7-9 to represent your clan.
