There. I said it. I have no idea how to play this OverPoweredSovietTrashTM.

I've easily been averaging over 2700 damage in the Leopard 1 in the last three months. Not amazing by any means, but good enough to win 60% of my matches, and I love the tank. Much rather play it than the 140. Supreme accuracy, awesome mobility, and gun depression is my idea of a good tank.

The Object doesn't really have any of that though, and that's why I think I might be struggling in it. I think I might just be too inflexible to play a tank with limited gun depression. It's my most played tank in the last 30 days, but that's only because I've been trying to learn the stupid thing. 2600 damage a game really isn't all that starry, and I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. I try to work the small dips in the terrain, put the front of the tank at an extreme angle, spot for the team, and do what I normally do in a tank with meh gun depression, but I am still missing something.

Anybody can give me some tips on how to play the Object 140?

Well, how did you play the T-54?

T-54 has much more armor Tier for Tier, and it gets to see tier 8's that will bounce off of it all day long. The Obj has less armor, and therefore, cannot be as aggressive.

I really hate to say this, but my stats in the 140 are better than bushka's. So I don't think I can really learn anything from watching the video.

I agree with you, I can't stand playing the tank. I'd rather be playing my FV4202 all day long over the 140, I just find it to be a trash tank

I struggled with this tank at first but after getting the hang of it it's one of my favorite tanks now. This Tank is OP in the right hands. You need to learn how to make the enemy bounce their shots. Wiggling and angling are your best friend. Ever since I learned these strategies I've been able to master this tank. As far as the lack of gun depression you need to find spots on the map that allow you to use your gun. There are plenty of spots that allow you to stay hull down and still get some shots into the enemy. This Tank is all about that bouncy turret and dpm. Abuse those and you will do fine. Good luck!

Aside from the troubles that came with it being my first tier X and me not generally being all that great... it seemed like the ammo rack on this found excuses to blow up, and every single freaking hit resulted in some catastrophic crew or module damage.  That, in addition to this being a tank that was never produced or served, is why I kept the T-62 and sold the 140.

no russian tank is "trash" :P

You need to upgrade the thing with vents and provisions to squash down that reload speed as low as possible. It, and the t62a are known for their supreme dpm. For every shot that a medium or a heavy tank gives you, put 2 steaming hot HEAT rounds into their hulls. But, if a jageru puts a shot into you, give him 3 rounds in return. If upgraded to the max I believe it can have a 4.9 second reload time. You have to be really aggressive with the tank. If you go hull down, you have to be poking out the side of the hill, not out from the top, because your gun depression will be very annoying to deal with. You can bait shots by poking your nose out at an autobounce angle, but you never want to sidescrape with the tank. The mobility is great, not supreme, but enough so that you can get around the map smoothly. It has a low profile, but you always want to try to keep moving. Never rely on your hull armor. If you do go hull down, move back and forth to make aiming at your weakspots harder for enemies.

If a genius with a tank that is not a Russian medium decides to man fight with you, show him how bad of an idea it was by f**kng him up with your superior dpm

If you are low on health and a guy decides to man fight with you, begin tracking him, and then permatracking him so you can get the hell out of there

If you call a certain direction but the team rebels against you and they go the other way, go with them and use them as scouts, so that you can farm damage. And when they say "why didn't you help?" you can reply "I told you to go XYZ but you didn't listen so this is what happens "

If you are fighting a turretless tank and you don't want to be shot, begin by trying to bait his shot. If he doesn't fall for it, make yourself more tempting. If he still doesn't fall for it, then poke out quickly and track him. He should then burn his repair kit. repeat, until all of his 9001 repair kits are burned out, and then start circling him until he's dead

Rule #1 - always try to go hull down

Rule #2 - if you have enough health and you think it's worth it, crush your rival with your dpm

Rule #3 - if it can't be penned, shoot HEAT

Rule #4 - if it still can't be penned, circle it

Rule #5 - never throw away your hp

Rule #6 - never rely on purely your armor. always count on your gun and mobility

Rule #7 - if it they're overwhelming you, retreat to a safe distance, and begin firing. repeat until all your teammates are dead, then proceed to be a massive troll and drown yourself or go out with a bang and start shooting purely heat.

Rule #8 - always take the stronger position in the first few minutes of a battle. Only a Leopard or another t62a could possible outrace you, and if that happens, refer back to rule #2. If rule #2 can't be applied, refer back to rule #7

I literally pulled this off the top of my head. Hopefully this helps a little

Then don't be aggressive. Problem solved.

The Object 140 has 1 degree more gun depression than the Object 140, which means more places to hulldown. Play a bit less aggressive and try to stay alive to do damage.

I really doubt that you managed to yolo in a T-54 successfully.

Maybe the obj 140 just isn't for you. You might excel better in tanks with more gun depression. That being said. Try to find dips in the terrains where you can go hulldown. If not, try flanking to get sideshots.

I actually did, just look at the stats.

I'm not being aggressive at all in the 140. Just because i was in the T-54 doesn't mean I am in the 140.
