Next one! (Part of a set)

This one will be running alongside the Tier 7 one.

Overall Result: Mixed

Tournament Requirements (Out of my control...for now)

  • Groups of 8 with best of 3 format
  • 1 Winning team per group
  • Prize Amounts (Scaled to the max number of participating teams)
  • Team Size 7-9
  • Tier X must be included
  • All maps must be Supremacy Mode
  • Must use all maps that can be Supremacy Mode

Improvements/Changes:

  • Moving registration timings to later in the  to see if it helps.
    • Seeing what happens when we have multiple tournament registrations open at once
  • Creating a Tier 10 tournament alongside a lower Tier tournament to increase the opportunity for a wider variety of players to participate.
  • Trying to announce multiple tournaments earlier

Known / Reported Issues:

  • [Known Issue] Registration issues - we have had reports of issues that either prevented or delayed invitations to people preventing them from participating or creating a team in time.
    • I have been informed that this is supposed to have been fixed.
  • [Reported Issue] Not being invited to a match - We have had a report that after the first battle a team did not receive another invite for the second battle and automatically lost.
    • I have not seen any additional reports of this happening so I am calling it fixed until more reports come in.
  • [FEATURE] Team Deletion / Registration Closing - All teams that have not claimed a spot in the tournament itself when either the registration time is up or the tournament hits the maximum number of teams allowed, will be deleted from the "waiting/pending" list. Also hitting the maximum number of allowed team closes the registration period. Even if one of the teams cancels and we drop below the maximum.
    • This is currently a feature but please continue to leave feedback.

Feedback Request:

  • Did anyone experience any AFK/Less than 5 member teams?
  • What would be more beneficial to you for finding out about tournaments? "Future Tournaments" in game? or an out of game news article?
  • Did having 2 tournaments running side by side "water down" the competition?

If there is anything else you'd like to leave feedback on. That is what this thread is for!

Overall Feedback Gathered so far:

  • Low participation - only had 61 Teams sign up
    • Reward was low
      • Had to reduce the reward down to compensate for the small amount of teams
    • 2 tournaments were running at the same time
      • May have diluted the pool of participants
    • (No feedback left in thread thus far)

I have feedback. Stop allowing PC players in a mobile game.

We had a few afks and people leave after losing one game to us.
People knew about the brawl but the reward was too small and it's not CW so no need to waste the credits when you won't get it back in gold.
Oh yea almost forgot. Is there any reason why PC players are allowed in blitz, but when it comes to the twister cup PC is a no go?

Cc with the update does that mean events will be separated?  PC auto aim and standard mobile devices?

Being a former pc player since 2012, it is imho that there needs to be a stand on both control modes being allowed to compete against one another. While the idea of cross platform play is I'm sure exciting for WG, when it comes to competetive play, there is a distinct advantage to pc auto aim. I have no issue with kbm play, only think that kbm players should play kbm players in competition, and not versus standard mobile controls. If both modes are to be allowed to compete, there needs to be a much more sufficient auto aim locking feature added to standard control modes. In WG EULA, mods that give a distinct advantage to a player are not allowed, yet kbm which has a sufficiently stronger locking feature to its aim is allowed to be competitively played vs standard auto aim on tablet, phone, etcetera. While it's great WG has implemented same control mode in public matches, it's very necessary that there is a stance taken on mixing pc controls and standard control mode when running competitions. There is a reason kbm was not allowed in the twister cup, this is remember a mobile game.

Hey CC with another event coming can we get an answer on this?  I am confused why the PC players aren't forced to be playing PC world of tanks.
