Great write-up & repped :)

I've been learning some of this stuff the hard way. Trying to implement a couple of the ideas / strategies through tidbits here and from being a spectator after getting killed off.

I seem to have great difficulty with tracking. Any pointers on that?

Targeting weak spots on bigger tier vehicles also has seemed to be largely ineffective, could be due to angle of attack/firing, but I've found myself within a square with big tanks and doing 0 damage in grey areas that are dead-on. Premium ammo required?

Thanks, acrisis! You can use HE to more reliably track a tank, or AP to hit their drive sprocket, which is normally the first (but sometimes the last) wheel on the tank.

Good luck and welcome to the forums! Pull up a chair and make yourself at home.

Hey Thunder, great guide. I used it many months ago when I first discovered the forums. It helped a ton! One suggestion: how about a section on aiming and using the reticle? What the size of the circle means, how to use the trajectory carets (no idea if that's the right term for the ^ thingies), things that improve aim (crew skills, vstabs), etc. Just a thought...

#8 Aiming reticule : Do we have to wait for the circle to shrink to fire? I'm still not sure how this works.

Many time I have this....^ locked on to the enemy but I don't get a hit? how small does this circle have

to be for a hit to be assured? Sometimes it seems like forever for this circle to shrink and the target

is gone before it shrinks. I've looked around for explanations to this but haven't found it.

I've had a five kill battle but still I'm not 100% sure how this targeting system works.

This is cool. People have known about this for years and I just accidentally stumbled upon it. I wish instead of hearing watch bushka over and over and over someone would have said read this first. I’m not being offensive towards bushka it’s good stuff too but I enjoy reading and this is an introduction.
