Awesome work. Wish I had this when I started.
Thanks, micro. That was pretty much what I was thinking about while putting this together. Just trying to remember things I didn't understand when I first started.

Superb guide and a labor of love. Not long at all, IMO, and loaded with key info. Having never so much as played a video game before
I picked up WoTB, wish I had had it 2939 battles ago. Thank you!!
Thanks, Braehead. Great to hear WoTB is your first video game, and since you've played almost 3,000 battles I'm assuming you like it! The addiction begins. Hue.

Thanks, GeneralCheez. That's a good idea about adding basic tank terminology. I'll edit that in. Thanks for the suggestion!

Awesome Guide. Would be nice if WG could include angling, sidescraping into training portion.

Thanks, r0cket. I actually totally agree. It would be sweet to have an optional extended training portion.

Great work! I think it deserves to be on the Blitz Wiki page, maybe more new people can read it there.

5. Auto-Aim Selector – Quickly toggles auto-aim on and off.
I play on the iPhone 5c. Is this little thing-a-mah-jig available to me? It'd be really useful in those situations where you accidentally switch targets because auto-aim hates spotting, lol.

Hi, Xavier. You can place the auto-aim selector on your screen by going into the in-game settings. From there you can move all the buttons around to your liking. Happy tanking!

► Will artillery be introduced? - [Edited] you and your clicking scum.
FTFY
► How did I get shot by someone who I couldn't see? - In regards to a one vs. one scenario... View range is the maximum distance any given tank can see. Equipment can increase view range, while terrain and bushes can increase camo value, making a tank more difficult to spot. On the other hand, movement and firing lowers camo value. So if the enemy tank is stationary and lying in wait and you are firing and on the move, you will be spotted while they are not. For more information on view range and camouflage click here.
Actually what you are talking about is draw view range is theoretically infinite and draw range is limited.
Other than that pretty good.

Hi Skittles. Thanks for taking the time to read through the guide! Please refer to the WoT wiki on view rangeto see where I pulled my information.
Thanks again!

Yeah, I just don't see it on my device. Settings or in-game. Is this a bug? I really want this button.

Here's how to access the auto-aim selector:
1. From the garage, click on the drop-down menu in the top-left-hand corner.
2. Click "Settings."
3. Scroll down to the "Auto-Aim" box and toggle it until reads "WITH BUTTON."
4. Click "Controls" in the top-right-hand corner.
5. Position the "A," or "Auto-Aim" box, wherever you like.
Hope that helps!

AHHH!!! Did not realize that screen could scroll. Took me a while to realize the drop down menu scrolled too. They should probably make a UI change to make that more obvious. (I have a Computer Science degree for goodness sake)

Honestly, I didn't realize the drop-down menu scrolled until thousands of battles of later.

Great work. The only thing I might add is what I would call the different phases of the battle, for me they are the following:
1. Movement to Contact. During this phase each side knows the other is somewhere on the map. Each side moves to make contact with the enemy. Depending on the map here is where TDs can be most effective if they are in a good position.
2. Meeting Engagement/Close Fight. Here both forces have made contact and the close fight starts. Here friendly forces should move to create as many 2v1 fights as possible to overwhelm the enemy with superior firepower.
3. Clean Up/End Game. Here both sides have taken losses and each begins to maneuver to close and finish remaining enemy forces.
Again a really great piece of work, good luck and have fun.

Hi, sabre. Thanks for reading through the guide and providing feedback. It's much appreciated. Also, that battle count though.
Lastly, welcome to the forums! Pull up a chair and make yourself at home.
