Been tossing around the idea of joining a clan. I've dabbled in a couple, but haven't found any that really like to platoon as much as I do.

Most of the worthwhile clans require you meet certain criteria such as own a tier 8 or higher non premium tank, have an average of 1000 damage per battle, average tier 6 or above, etc.

Your Stats aren't bad so keep a look out for a clan that has minimum qualifications that you can pass.

I highly recommend joining a clan. Being in a clan and farming XP for "clan supply" gives you all kinds of benefits, as well as to your clanmates, such as reduced costs on consumables, tanks, provisions, and equipment, buying garage slots for credits, and even a special camo for reaching clan supply level nine. I estimate being in a clan has saved me probably a million credits from equipment, tank, and consumables/provisions costs...

Whatever, since people seem content with the plain oleophobic coating and dragging their meaty, calloused workman's thumbs around like proto-lizards sliding up out of the primordial ooze onto dry land, it's just more for me.  I'm happy to float on fiber and run circles around you filthy casuals. Eat my dust, snail thumbs.

we're looking for players who will use discord to toon and do countdowns with. come play a few games with us and see if it's the type of clan you are looking for.

we care more about participation and attitude vs stats. the stats will come

Thanks all. I guess I'd prefer not having to use Discord. Just something uncomfortable with using voice chat with people I don't know, feels, dirty.

it's like talking on a phone, no big deal. when I played the original Call of Duty we always used Team Speak, the game felt boring if you weren't on chatting with fellow clan mates who played the game. If's a great way to communicate without having to type, or just chat with ppl who enjoy a WOTB like you do. but to each their own.

I felt that way too. Didn't want to bother with the tech. But then I went all in. Now, countdowns with later taters and friends are what look forward to the most. It gets to be like you are hanging out with your buds without the hassle of going anywhere. There are times, that not a lot of tanking happens. Conversation takes over. Try tanking while trying to explain the last election to a French Canadian. Also, if it works out right, it is like having multiple toon mates at once.

p.s. I still hate talking on the phone.

Check out MOM if you're still shopping, plenty of 'toon partners. TeamSpeak is the voice weapon of choice but isn't required- you can hop on and then mute yourself if you want to listen in but not talk, plenty of folks do that. Regularly do count-ins and the like as well. PM me here or in game if you want more info.

Your mom's requirements are pretty low.
