Ladies and Gentlemen, 501 is sad to announce that one of our beloved Commanders, friends, and Community Contributors will be leaving Blitz. Shawk is, has been, and will continue to be a driving force within 501, however he has had to shift his focus onto his own battles with his cancer and family. While we hate to see him go, we fully respect, understand and support him in his decision and the fights ahead. We look forward to his return in the future and our prayers for his health go with him. Please give him your best wishes and support as he goes through these trials.

I hope he recovers soon from cancer. Awful for something like that to happen to a player.

Shawk is the reason I wanted to join 501, and hes also the reason I got accepted into 501. He is a fantastic person, always kind and with great intentions. I wanted to thank Shawk for everything, and sincerely hope that he returns soon in perfect condition.

Shawk has been a solid part of this game and community for a long time.  Always there to answer a question and help.  I for one will definitely miss him moving forward.  Best wishes on your struggles ahead.

Along with 501, Shawk is also on the Clan Wars Council (one of 7).  Although he will be leaving 501, he will still continue to serve on the Council (even if in a lesser role).  

 

Nothing but thought sand prayers from all of the Council, GRIM and of course those of us who toon with him regularly.

Get well so we can see you out on the battlefield. 


Unifying TRIARII factors:

1.How much money we've spent on this game (not to mention the new parking garage required for all of our M 60's)

2. The amount of alcohol consumed while playing tanks. 

3. How much fun we have with, and at the expense of, each other
