Nope. The M60 is a permanent reward tank in Blitz which means it can be made available in future campaigns. It will always be a prize and will never be sold much like the IS-6 Fearless used in Clan Wars II.

no, no, silly child. You can obviously get it for "free", you just have to be extremely lucky with the crates. 

 

Its how WG gets around things, like having borderline arty with the t49a even though they said there wouldn't be any arty in blitz.

because a guided missile fired from the spawn to hit tanks across the map is that vastly different of a concept. It's not arty, but it hurt the same way.

what do you want them to do? create another sh1tstorm by distributing a rare tank according to nebulous criteria? 

 

it would have been so much easy if they said - if you spent $1000 during 2017 we will gift you tank X for your support and loyalty ... or something along those lines. 

 

as long as criteria is clear- people will be content. 

 

but...

 

content folks dont make noise. and there is no such thing as bad publicity. also war is very random. so.. maybe they are trying to recreate that particular aspect of it ... who knows..
