This is hilarious.  So many people dropped money on crates and left empty handed in the futile attempt to get this tank from the supergame.  Now it is on sale for the everyday low price of $500.  

 

The M60 has come to symbolize the failures of WG Blitz staff rather than a cool premium tank.

If anyone ever doubted that Wargaming is extra dishonest just look back through this thread and find the post by a WG office stating that the M60 would never be for sale...yet there it is in this event with a clear price tag on it .

There is clearly a misunderstanding here.  WG does not understand consumer policies and principles in a free market economy.

 

So now the M60 is on sale for approximately $400-$500.  The funny thing (for me) is this - they would have had at least that much from me in 2017, had I been considered worthy of one in December 2016.  Instead, they got $ 0.00 from me in 2017 and that trend will be continuing for the foreseeable future. 

 

To quote an old saying "you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar".  Vinegar only seems to make people want to add more salt to the equation.

Nope. The M60 is a permanent reward tank in Blitz which means it can be made available in future campaigns. It will always be a prize and will never be sold much like the IS-6 Fearless used in Clan Wars II.

If RU players knew about it a full freaking year ago, how come we never heard this, that the M60 might some day be sold??? And it took your office a full year to notice what OUR office had stated was wrong? Something doesn't seem right...

 

Ribble, if your office knows so much, how bout telling us all here why some players were gifted the M60 in 2016, and why most of us were not. What was the criteria they had to fulfill? We've been waiting and wanting to know for over a year...it should be "declassified" by now. We deserve to know, as most of us's only way to get the M60 is by paying an scandalous amount of money.

Our team didn't operate this forum. Once we noticed this thread and that miscommunication we clarified it. I took a couple of minutes.

Why should the criteria be declassified? We don't disclose it regardless the region.

Guess you guys just happened to ignore one of the hottest threads on the NA forums after you took over and kicked out the NA staff MONTHS AGO. Seriously, this thread has been near the top of the active threads almost every day since December 21, 2016. 

 

And the issue about the M60 hype is because it is an American Tier X medium tank that wargaming gifted for free to “LOYAL” players such as trolls (see 1gringo1), accounts that were INACTIVE FOR YEARS/MONTHS, and accounts that were new where the player didn’t even have a tier 8! Trolls, new accounts, and inactive accounts were gifted this TIER X MEDIUM TANK FOR FREE, without any explanation as to why, and they were deemed more loyal than accounts who had been playing this game since 2014! There are screen shots everywhere to show this.
