The only criteria was for players who spent the most money on the game. I’d love to see proof otherwise.

I have spent a lot. No M60. If you read through the thread you will see there is not trend in who received it. It was completely random due to no pattern in any data gathered.

You must be the only one at WG that doesn’t understand the hype.   Otherwise you wouldn’t be “selling” it starting at around $500.  You give people a gift last year and now sell it for hundreds of dollars.   Sorry but that’s just a sleazy thing to do

Well in fairness, they did accidentally sell the IS-6 Fearless too...

- and yanked it faster than .... 

 

Revenues are down for Blitz, it’s easy to see, and this was a cash grab. 

I mean who wants to buy Premiums or Premium Time now.

People that didn’t earn them got to keep them. The 83 of us banded together despite being in 5 different clans and we have still not been compensated. It’s honestly quite sad to think that of the few hundred tanks in this game, some free to buy and others not, that there was ONE exception to this rule. ONE glorious tank that said “I won this with my team and hard work”. The saddest thing is that it’s just an IS-6 with a camo. It’s not statistically different at all. I know. I have both. After going to Minsk and winning Las Vegas, I know how much war gaming respects its top tier players and how much you care about this game. Anyone who says otherwise is absolutely wrong. But I think the Fearless is an instance where the players who earned them have been wronged and it’s been over a year with not even as little as an apology

Way to thread jack; this thread is about the failures and inadaquacies of wargaming with the M60. If you want to talk about the IS6 Fearless and CW2, and how there was blatant cheating and rigging going on by having afk/1 member teams attack specific clans throughout the war so those clans could pad their points with fixed defense points, feel free to start your own thread.

Nope. The M60 is a permanent reward tank in Blitz which means it can be made available in future campaigns. It will always be a prize and will never be sold much like the IS-6 Fearless used in Clan Wars II.

If you actually stop and look at both tanks and what they are they’re really very similar. Both are reward tanks, one by some algorithm and the other by winning CW2. Both were said to NEVER be sold, thus making them unique. WG turned around and sold the Fearless over half a year ago and as of December, started selling the M60. These two tanks were both exclusive to the owners. Now the M60 has a shady side to it considering how they were distributed but still the two tanks represent the same overall problem.

I cannot believe 1gringo1 got an M60.  Having him on green was an autoloss.  Good news is he hasn't played since October.

That literally makes no sense. Say we're on an American Airlines flight. Halfway through the flight attendant comes through the aisle and gives 10 people out of the 60 on the plane $1000 in cash. When asked, she says "sorry, it's classified why they got it."

So, I received the tank than but rarely play it.  First of all, I like to play Tiers IV and V more and secondly, the M-60 is not that good of a tank.  Pier X tanks make short work of it.
