Yup, the old days when you had to reload to a different shell type. The only problem I could see with this would be a slight pay to win advantage for rich buggers like myself that would just keep prammo loaded all the time. But switching from say, AP to HESH/HE quick for that quick bum shot to the back of a tank would be a thing of the past.

 

I don't think they should be touching the pen values on the Leo PTA, FV, M48, type 61. Those tanks already have enough shortcomings.

This is a good start. The russian meds needed a good nerfing. But the others, not so much. Lets see what the data says.

 

sorta think they need to do alot more readjusting... reducing the meds influence is great but now the heavies may ght be op. I think they need to nerf the heavies acurracy  and thrn increast the load times on tds as well

 

this way the meds will hqve accurate guns but less pen so they need to flank. Heavies would have good pen, armor but poor accuracy and tds have good pen and alpha but poor reload times and armore.

 

Of course each tank should be different and there should be some crossover tanks like a td with low alpha but fast reload etc, but this should be a baseline.

 

now if they work on balancing ligh  tanks and buff the panther m10 i will be really happy

penetration has to do with apartment pressure over the moment meaning more force dose not equal more penatration.... pressure = force over area. So if u apply similar force over a smaller area you get more peatration

It may add a greater dynamic to the game at high tiers which was lost when they implemented +1/-1 matchmaking (depending on how much they reduce the pen values). In +2/-2, (smart) low tier tanks would play second line support, spotting, flanking. There's not a heck of a lot of that going on anymore. The Obj. 140 may be reduced to a proper roll of a support/flank/spotter instead of a domineering force.

Doesnt solve anything. People spam gold at tier x. Credit diff between spamming gold and WINNING vs no-pen and LOSING is huge. In fact if they implement reload on ammo switch I guarantee you there will be more gold spam at highier tiers.

actually the credit difference is minimal. You only get 4800 more credits for winning at tier X. That's the cost of one gold round.

BTW, y'all really think heavies were obsolete in tier 10s? E5 and IS-4 are absolute beasts in pubs. 140 was the only thing holding E5 in check. If they nerf 140, be ready for E5 spam and that's gonna be a lot worse than facing 140s.

They seem not OP at all and gun is all they had.

 

Why nerf them?

Why would you spam gold in the Russian Mediums in tier 10?  Doesn't the APCR go twice as fast as HEAT?  Plus doesn't get eaten by tracks...

Spamming it in the T-54 I get, but not in the OBJ140/62...

Today I went to the bathroom and forgot my phone.

 

There are 256 tiles in the bathroom...

E5s are nowhere near what they are on PC... be thankful that if the meds are nerfed, E5s don't become the level of OP they would've been if we had the PC version.

I feel the same way. Guess I just have to see what they do. Only tank that needed a nerf was the Obj and we all know it. And the ROF was the deal. Nothing else.

Didn't they test the MM on the NA server first. And this is from the EU server so why are you worried? May never see this over here at least not in the testing phase.

its not physics its gun design, velocity, shell design, recoil system and length of barrel. For example the 100mm on the T62A has more penetration than the 100mm on the T-54 simply because the gun was designed better.
