The first in my hierarchy series! Note that this is purely my opinion, feel free to leave your's below. I also don't base this wholly on stats, but also on reputation and personality.
#10: General_NK
Ain't no way this guy gets left out! A nearly 84% winrate, yet he doesn't spam only tier 2/3/4 (COUGH big ben COUGH). This player is proficient at every tier and nearly every tank he's played. But not only is he proficient in pub matches, but he is one of the most clutch players I've seen in a CW. I didn't put him higher because, although he doesn't spam them more than any other tier, he does club a decent bit, and his average damage is fairly low.
#9: Anon_____
An outstanding player, one of the top video contributors, and an executive in a top clan. Anon shows us time and time again in his videos and streams how he controls aggression, conserves hitpoints, pulls off clutch 1vX wins, and carries sad little plebs like me. Although I haven't (yet) had the pleasure to platoon with him, I'm always astounded at how consistent he plays.
#8: Dark_Magician_Girl
The very first flaming reroll that has been accepted into the community and earned our respect. Nobody can't doubt that she can play, but the only reason she isn't higher is because she is a reroll. Sorry, Dark. She is a leader and organizer for STR8's tournament team, a professional padder, and an outstanding forum contributor. I'm always excited when I get in a toon with her, I finally get someone to carry me.
#7: Concep
The leader of "The #1 Bad Clan NA," and the #22 player in NA according to face4star's custom star1 rating. He ain't getting left out. A community contributor, although somewhat inactive in that role as of late, and a very consistent player. I've only player with/against him a few times, and I can only recall once when he lost. Yes, he was on the red team.
But anyway, he's managed to build a dynasty that managed to grasp the #1 clan spot, put it leagues ahead of the competition, and maintain it since clans were first implemented.
#6: TVDOR/COVORUL
I've only had the pleasure to platoon with him a few times, but every. Single. Time, we managed at least an 80% WR during the toon. Not ONCE did we have a game where he failed to provide a major contribution, and so many times he managed to carry a pleb team that would've broken my back. Truly outstanding.
#5: indypengiun500
I don't know him, and I don't recall ever being in a game with him. But his stats speak for him very very well. He's the #4 player according to Star1, and #2 in active players. I can't say a whole lot more since I've never seen him play, but still.
#4: Raptorjet09
See above. I don't know this guy personally, but he is the #1 active player, based purely on stats. Idk how on earth this guy manages to put up such ridiculous numbers.
#3: _law
Arguably the best reaper in the game. An 80%-er that, even with his absurd platoon rate, manages to average more than 2400 damage every game. Think about it, he has a platoonmate in 90% of his games, the platoonmate is more than likely a unicum/super unicum that helps "steal" his damage, yet he can put up those numbers. Definitely worthy of his high ranking.
#2: player_1902211325
My only contact with this player was during his brief (~30 minute) stay in the early days of STR8. Still kinda curious about that. But, anyway, this player manages to actively contribute more in every game than any other player on the NA server. He has a higher average damage OVERALL than I do in my tier 10. Everyone knows how good I am in the 140, so that should speak for itself. 100%.
#1: _Tebra
The farther I moved up this list, the harder it got to single out players for each rank. But this was by far the toughest to decide. One of only 8 players to crack 1.9 star1, he has the 2nd highest average damages in NA, with 2570. I mean...wut. I can't say anything for him other than his stats, but holy cow his stats are enough.
I know most, if not all of my picks are gonna be controversial, but that's what opinions are for. People are gonna have different ones. Leave your's below!!
