Check the link in my signature. It will help you understand how the credit economy works a lot better, and what the various credit coefficients for the different tanks in the game are.

Personally I'd recommend the Löwe. Solid turret, accurate gun, good enough DPM and alpha, and 8 degrees of gun depression with excellent credit coefficient. I also like the T34, but it's starting to show it's age.

Check this guys link

and guys he probably isn't ready to grind in tier 7/8

If you aren't winning you aren't really earning much creditos

I use 0 prammo, because I don't know when to use it.

That is simple

When you can see no weak spots or cannot hit the weak spot...switch to prammo to see what that hitskin looks like...I do this in-between shots as I am reloading as I duck for cover etc...

More pen = more weak spots

Some tanks pay for their prammo with high credit earnings...see panzermk6 link

Experiment with prammo on all your tanks in training rooms if you want to test it out on the cheap

I dunno why the AT-15A is off limits for ya, I've matched my earnings in my IS-6 at times and the thing can be damn-near invincible.

But let's see... The Panther/M10 at 7 is a fun one, makes me okay credits. I just had a match in it where got 25k credits with full provisions 2.2k damage, while spamming APCR. Nothing makes nearly/easily as much as the IS-6 though. IS-6 at 8 is a given (although I've been using the CDC more since I got it, it makes money better, I think.). I'd gander I make ~60-70k in a decent game in the IS-6 (I'm gonna guess-timate that it'll take 2k-ish damage). Regardless of damage I usually stay out of the red, so the IS-6 is most likely your answer. However, the IS-6 will spoil you and will make a bad tanker worse. You gotta know how to drive a tank before all else, know how to angle, side-scrape, hull down, etc., before you jump in it, but know that as far as skill goes, at tier 8 you'll still deal with idiot teams. Teams are still crap and carrying is harder than at earlier tiers. If you end up getting the Is-6, don't be the one that hides behind Meds/TD's. Be the heavy and put in work for your team.

I can't speak to the effectiveness of the Angry Connor but I hear it might be a good alternative.

I wish I could get decent teams and actually win in my at15a .... I could do better if I'd just AFK ...

Dont mention Conner, terrible tank to try to win.

To make credits these days you pretty much need: premium time + maximum dmg on the team + win

If one or two of those are missing, you will just stay afloat.

HEY!!! I love you post on coefficients, it's helped me A LOT. But not with the SU-122-44, just got decent, still get a few bad rounds, but make like 18K with 1K damage. Why game?!

PZ5/4 or SU85i if you can play turret less TDs...I make 25-50K every game in SU85i, but I pump out damage...gun is tier 6 and rarely needs ACPR

also the T14 and you will need more acpr

are you on premium account or not?

I say get a tier 5 so you can learn the mechanics of the game some more....122-44 is not the easiest thing to do well in if you are out of your tier

Goodluck bro

I don't have premium time, I don't see it as too good, because you could get basically a permanent premium, with a premium tank.

Hey Jedi, I notice that you have the Pz III/IV in garage, that's a pretty good tank for grinding credits in, check out the credit coefficient on it on the link that Pz MK6 has up.  I also notice that you play the Easy 8 decently, so in Tier 5 I would recommend the T-25 to you if you really want a premium.  It's a similiar play style to the Easy 8, but, turns less nimbly, keep the reds in front of you and don't dog fight with it.

Well, looking at your stats, on average it looks like you gross 29,758 credits per battle before expenses (Looking at WR, damage per battle, and spots)

Judging from your hit rate, and damage per battle, I'd say you spend 3305 credits per battle on ammo on average

And judging from your survival rate, you probably spend about ~5k per battle on repairs.

That means you probably net ~21,453 credits, if you use no consumables. Given that a repair kit costs 1800 after clan supply, and EPB and the multi-repair kit cost 2880, it's plausible to say that you spend about ~3k per battle on consumables bringing you to around 18k credits.

This would be right in line with what you are observing. The best way to earn more credits is to deal more damage. Nothing else matters as much. The other big contributors are vehicle tier, and winning. But damage > winning in the formula. Winning in the 122-44 only nets the equivalent of dealing 420 damage.

Right now you deal ~1065 damage per battle. If you could deal 1450 damage per battle (The HP of the Tiger I), then you could earn an extra 6500 per battle, putting you at a respectable ~24k per battle.

If you have a premium tank, premium time is one of the better investments you can make. The advantage is that it applies a 1.5X multiplier to your gross credits, not your net credits. Using our example of your SU-122-44, you could be making an extra 14,879 given your current performance, putting you at 33k per battle. That's nearly double what you make now! And if you were to deal 1450 damage per battle instead of 1065, you would make 43082 credits per battle!

If you spend 2500 gold for 30 days of premium time, at 10 battles per day on your SU-122-44, you'd be able to grind out an extra 4,463,700 credits than if you didn't have premium time. This number only increases the more battles you play, and the better you do.

But if you want a different premium tank, they key is to pick one that you will do well in and/or enjoy playing. Right now, it's too hard to make a call due to your limited tanks played though.

I am starting to make like 20-30K in my SU-122-44, but I think I'll save my Gold for tanks, but right now buy only a tier 5, MAYBE a tier 6, premium (ONLY TECH TREE PREMIUMS), but what would you recommend for tiers 5 and 6? Still accounting for the off limits tanks.

Also, when (or if) I do get the IS-6, what gun should I use for credit grinding?

I use the second gun(D-30A?), as the pen is slighty better. But both do well. 2nd gun needs less prammo tho, so it makes more

So I need money for my tier 6 (IKR, I'm pathetic), but the "Easy" 8 doesn't actually make money often. I have the SU-122-44 but it doesn't make much. Reply saying what tech tree premium (ONLY!!!!!!!) you would recommend for tiers 5, 6, 7 and 8. Also say the noob-friendlyness on a scale of 1-5. And say how much you get (net) in a decent battle. Please only respond if you have all in those tiers or all of them, but it's okay if you have most of them.

Off-limit Tanks: Matilda IV, Ram II, Matilda Black Prince, Tog II, AT 15A, and any premium tanks tiers 4 and lower.

You should still be earning decent coin in the Easy 8 because you don't need much prammo (good pen).  Regardless of which premium you choose, working on improving damage delivered without prammo will also be a really good (free) investment.  Good luck!
