So I got an idea while I was in science class, involving inertia and Newtan's first law or something like that.A javelin thrower gets a running start to help him farther, so technically I think this could be used on a tank. The frame would have to be as long as the E 100's, but it's armor and thickness like the Grille 15. It would have a gun like the E 50 M. However, it would need a turret that has rockets or something to accelerate very fast from one end of the tank to the other, basically applying the running start method. The shell would fire just before the turret has to deaccelerate, so it would have very good damage and penetration. For this being good, the tank would have to have a long reload, because the turret has to be 'winded' back into place. I don't know if this would fit in WOT Blitz, but if it doesn't, it just might be a good tier XI in PC and console.

That sounds awful cumbersome.

The amount of time you'd have to take to "wind up" to take that shot would be enough to get you killed before you can fire.

And also, when it comes to shells, the momentum the shell gains from going 65km/h at the start is incredibly negligible to the energy it gains when the charge goes off. The shell also wouldn't gain the momentum of the entire tank, but just the velocity x mass of shell. In comparison, a shell being fired produces enough energy to make an entire tank rock back a meter or two.

Or, you can just make the barrel longer to provide more distance because if you didn't know, Kinetic Energy = Mass times Velocity squared where velocity = displacement over time meaning. If you pack more propellant, and make the barrel longer, all while having a heavier shell, you can get more kinetic energy. See quick and simple

...No.

This is on par with putting an archer in a trebuchet so he shoot further.

No to the no power of nope.

If you want to talk tanks then head on over to the Bunker.
