I talk to a lot of people before starting a new line. I watch Bushkas videos, ask questions on this forum, and ask my clan mates. A lot of them have said the Churchill/FV215b line is quite bad. I've loved it, the Med III and Matilda were two of my favorite tanks I've ever driven, and the Church I can really dish out damage.

I just wanted to ask, out of everyone on the forum, is the FV215b heavy line worth it?

The fv215b is great, but the Conqueror is the best tank in the line, IMHO. The BP was the weakest for me. both tanks are not brawling heavies. They don't have the armor of the curch VII, but they do have excellent gun handling and low dispersion which makes them perfect for hull down second line support tanks. . . although I find side scraping to be a better tactic in the 215b due to the rear mounted turret. This was the first heavy line I took to tier X. I might have been disappointed in this tank if I had my Maus or IS7 first since both of those tanks have troll armor and can easily play front line heavy brawlers. But, if you watch Bushka and know the strengths and weaknesses of each tank, then you will be happy with any tank that fits your play style: If you can't resist rushing to the front, then don't grind this line. As you progress up the tiers, the role of the type and the peculiarities of each tank become more of a factor in your success, so keep investigating each tank before trying to play them.

FV215b is a beast at tier X. Be warned however that it is the hardest tier X heavy to drive, and is almost the most difficult tier X. A few degrees is all the difference it takes between bouncing shells and getting penned everywhere. It also has a unique shape and needs to take advantage of strange terrain features to do well. If you don't think your armor angling is on point, you map awareness is %110, then this tank isn't for you.

For the line as a whole I really enjoyed it. The Black Prince is really fun, and the Conqueror will always have a special place in my heart.

The Churchill VII and BP are very good side scrapers, and the Conqueror is borderline OP. Carnarvon is meh, but 215b is decent. Can sidescrape in a pinch, but the gun is the tank's biggest asset.

The Conq plays amazingly well as I have seen them in battle. Even though the armor is trash the gun is amazing.

It can kill my 103 easy enough. Gun has very little problem penned my hull, and has better rof.

The VII and BP are the worst in the line, but they are still really enjoyable.  I would compare them to a KV4 in that they can really only sidescrape to protect themselves and mobility is frustrating.

I don't have a FV yet.

My gun on the Conqueror upgraded, so it is horrible right now and I cannot speak to it.  I have literally stopped playing because it's so bad without the upgrade.  I am waiting to free XP it.  I rarely see the Conqueror in the game, but when I due I fear that upgraded gun.

The Caenarvon is awesome, I loved it.  It's more a medium with the armor, but the penetration and rate of fire is delicious.

If you want a tier 9 turreted TD that can fire HESH which is fairly unique this is it.  You don't get prammo HESH but I still like my conq and as a noob driving both it and the Cent 7/1 a couple years ago I did better in the Conq.

I love kemping bush
