Use the 76mm on the T-40. Great sniper, I've made 400m hits with it. It also has decent armor and unreal traverse on the gun. Find you a good hiding place back from the action. Let your team mates spot and deliver the love.

Mmmmm, I think you're playing it wrong. Use the derp gun, but don't play it like a straight-up brawler. Personally, I use the mobility to find a good bush up close that I can ambush from. You want to stay close to make your shots count, but never, ever be the center of attention. Let your teammates be meatshields. Play it like a KV-2 with no armor, and resist the urge to yolo. You just don't have the protection. I always use bushes to make sure I have time to aim, because the camo is great. And don't be afraid to shoot skill rounds. It took me a while to get the hang of it. You really have to ambush and reset camo, or you'll die. Once you start learning how to play it, it's one of the most enjoyable tanks in the game.

How can you not use the derp? This was a tier 4 game BTW.

I'll find you and destroy you with my Su-76i Ice claw and Rain Prammo On you. Then you will know why people get premiums

Getting the IS-7 is a pain...........Only KV-1 and IS-3 are good                 IS-3 defender is a boss

I bought myself a hellcat, but the second high iter lights came I sold it and bought my T82 back then finally grinded out that 105, and just pressing the "I have a 60% chance of winning this brawl right now" button. I don't care if I get lured into a trap, because 1 shot guarantees that I did more damage to them then they did to me.

Many good answers here about derpy, and I will try to summarize :

T82 is really not an obvious tank to make work.

But once you master it, all derp tanks will be so much more fun.

the word is ambush.

Never go to an erea not yet "cleared" as you don't want face to face with full HP enemy.

Instead Let both teams get into business, and then select your area or target.

either set up prize distribution shop in a bush and wait for enemy to come get it

either select a prey and run into his [edited] and derp it.

Always time and surprise the guy his pants off.

Then derp his face, or even better, is sides or back with HE.

just hit and run away, or hit and kill :

It's much better not to shoot the same target more than once.

Once one guy is done, repeat from beginning.

Meanwhile, at all times :

you should surprise people, never get surprised.

Once they have spotted you, the occasional smart red will try to come in your back.

so survey the minimap continuously. Any sly and sneaky med disappearing or coming your way means immediate escape.

On the minimap Always keep within your team "cloud" or outside the team but with every single red on the other side.

Your team should spot and absorb shots for you.

it does not. With the 105mm AT gun, the t25 can be quite the bully

I played TDs before it was cool. It was also never cool to begin with.

in my opinion use the 105, that tank is actually an arty in blitz because of its arch, I've shot over small hills and landed hits so sit back and play a scumbag arty/TD lol

If you aren't seal clubbing in the T-82 stop driving that line.

If you are looking for a fast firing medium cannon over a howitzer drive the Ram II for a while and look at something different.

I love kemping bush

i dont understand whats wrong you guys bashing the T95. its MUCH better than most of you plebs give it credit for.

  • 3rd highest winrate at Tier 9
  • highest survival percentage at tier 9
  • highest dmg ratio at tier 9
  • 3rd highest kills ber battle at tier 9
  • highest kills per death at tier 9
  • 4th highest avg dmg at tier 9

if youre losing and have a t95 on youre team, one of 2 things is happening. the t95 is afk or youre not supporting it. support the t95 and you will win more often than not.

Bah, the 105mm lets you kill Matilda's in the back, in two shots.

much less dangerous than in the front.

good luck with the T-40.

hint : it has the same 105mm gun, is a larger tank, has no speed to escape enemy.

I retired my T40 after acing it in it's first battle. :great:

6 kills baby!

After reading this yesterday, I bought my T-82 back. It is a fun derp tank still. In my last battle, some red team members only had 22-375 battles under their belt. It was an ugly battle. Not as fun derping when clubbing like that. Still, I will be derping again soon and likely get derped myself.

I keep going back and trying to play the t82. All I ever do is die.

I"ll fire.. then three reds turn on me and I die. boom. Must be the camo. So I'll back up further.. get behind some brush.. all I can see are the red silhouettes.. FIRE.. four reds turn on me and I take four rounds in the face.. boom.

kay.. I'll shoot from across the map.. I pick a spot.. hidden in brush.. aim...aim... wait for the reticle to shrink to its tiniest.. FIRE... and watch the red move out of the way while the round is still sailing across the map.. puff of dirt.

stupid.. worthless... T82.

yah yah.. I know it's me. But I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Been doing alright in other TDs.. but the t82.. ugh..its a tissue box with a big red target painted on it.

Also.. it's never a pleasant experience to bite into a SlimJim, and discover a toenail.

huhh.. there's another one..

the m103 would most likely be my first tier 9. All I need to do is grind the last 70k xp and grind up some credits.

The T95 is going to take me a bit. I still have to get the max engine for the 28 and the max gun. then the horrendous grind to research the 95

Mine was the Waffle. I used free xp. I miss that damn gun it had, punch through E-100
