Well thank you for your service gentleman I want to join the army and become a tanker my dad was flight crew HMLA-167 worked on the UH-1 Huey for over 20 years

^^^ You're welcome, lonestar! Small world, my Dad flew Hueys way back when - great birds! I'll bet you enjoy the Army, just be aware that they've cut way back on Tankers, to the point that lots of guys coming out of 19K training are ending up in Stryker or Bradley units. Sadly, with the current "leadership", lots of Abrams are sitting in motor pools, not having been started in months - let alone gone to the field or ranges.

Holy [edited](your post was three years ago) - but another "Shop of the Rock" head!   I was on The Rock from 1986 - 1989.  Got married in the post Chapel.    ...of course that's all gone now.....

no tank commander, but my grandpa was a gunner in a Sherman.  he fought the hedgerows in Normandy.....god rest his soul.  he survived ww2 though.  o7 to all who risked life n limb for my freedoms!
