Lemming trains of sub 47 WR folks is common yeah just carry as hard as you can knowing that your team will die within 30 seconds. It's the way if the game now. Does anyone know what the NA playerbase WR avg is?  I will continue to seal club since that is the only fun I get now I can't afford to play higher tiers anyway

fwiw, Pyle may be the one making the "call" and should really be ignored.

I almost always will make a call at the beginning of the round, based on the map and both teams makeup, by saying something like "<--<< this way please <--<<".

Sometimes they listen, sometimes they don't.

Sometimes I'm even the guy who goes the opposite way of everyone, if I think I can engage the enemy from a flank (in a fast tank) quickly enough and with a high enough success rate to be useful.  There are several maps and situations that this technique lends itself to, for instance Mirage when I'm the only fast tank.

More often than not though, I'm making the call and leading from the front, win or lose.

Agreed.  I'm not often senior enough to make the call myself, but I will at least try to gain some consensus in the few seconds before launch. Usually just asking the question is enough. I think it helps a little to get as many people together as possible; no matter which way they all go. This has helped improve my team win rate a little, and I'll take any help I can get. And why not? It's just a simple reminder.

you talk about winrate, yet seal club? Does a 50% or better winrate mean anything at tier 2? I bet you put on your level 9 access so everyone knows your a pink punk panty stat padding db seal clubber. That's why good clans make you have a certain average tier and average damage. Their smart enough to recognize players of integrity that don't need fake stats.

Everyone going in the same direction on the same side is called a Lemming Train and it "usually" works for mobile but not on PC. However, I do enjoy flanking with a platoon buddy when things get rough. Take Mines for an example. The team attacks hill, we go right to flank. The main battle is usually with the majority of the team and the enemy team is dumb enough to not care about being flanked. That's where we strike. We go around and lit them up.

Unless we're bottom tier...

I don't care about the call. I go where I best judge myself most useful or the most beneficial for me depending on players and matchup.

it's how I'll usually explain to my toonie: "Don't worry about how badly our team does. We go into every battle playing as if the rest of our teammates are [edited], with nothing to give us but time to carry our part." If you think of it like that, it's not hard to come to grips with the mass stupidity in this game. Especially when you're already thinking it.

The trouble with that flank in MInes is they usually have a TD or a big bore gun watching their entry point to the hill. Quite often a tank blows up without the TD even being seen.
