For the third straight month Forgotten_Fox has won the Hall of Fame event with an epic Cromwell performance.  However one new player must be win entrance each month and this month rajkumarukku makes it in with a spirited second place finish,  great job guys!

Looking Ahead

We are a few weeks away yet, but next month's vehicle will be the M18 Hellcat - make sure to get one into your garage before then!

Uhhh.....is that likely? No, so he doesn't have to care.

Will you still be able to track my stats if I'm running around in my football camo?  It's just ithat if you just find all Cromwell results, "Crowell Football" might not be included, or something or whatever.  I have no idea how you track stats tho.

Actually no, they track all the damage, xp, and medals for you.  No screenshots required.  All you have to do is grind.

Correct, we pull the data directly.  That said, it might be worth it to keep a few notes just to reference if something goes awry (as Forgotten_Fox can attest).

I can attest to that, but so far, most HOF go on without a hitch (one exception isnt that bad right?).

They didn't really mess that up.  There was just a different pull date than what we (the participants) were using.  Once they got the correct date parameters, the data was correct - I had 33 medals and you got a million.  I take a screenshot of all my medals and put them on 1 Word Doc so I can show proof if I need to, but there was no need here.  They got it all right!

I shall not be participating in any more of these contests since they: (1) Show no progress bar to see who's leading the pack; (2) Never seem to pick a tank that I really enjoy playing; or (3) give ANYTHING to the people who finish in 2nd or 3rd place.  I lost way too many games, spent way too much time and bled way too many millions of credits in the March contest to come away with absolutely nothing.  However, I play most tanks really well and that xxBlitzburghxx dude must have been a maniac playing considering his amount of damage (double mine) and number of medals during that same time period.  If I was him, and especially if I thought I had won originally, I'd be pretty bitter right now.  I'm only slightly bitter because the IS-3 is almost useless now-a-days with the T34, IS-6 and Defender roaming about.

Good luck to those of you brave souls who will take on the April contest.  My word to the wise: just when you think you've played it enough, play it some more - there's a crazier nut than you out there grinding his butt off going for the "unknown, unspecified prize!"

What tanks would you like to see played _War_Child_?  I was thinking about doing a poll to choose the tank for next month and would be happy to take recommendations for nominations.  You only have to win one month to be up for our unknown unspecific prize :)

First off, I love you guys and really appreciate all the hard work you put into these various events.

Second, I'm not used to getting a response from a Wargaming rep (Sly usually talks with me via PM). Big thank you for that!

Third, I don't even know what the monthly HOF winner gets (What did Forgotten win?).

Fourth, I'm not really qualified to pick a particular HOF tank.  I'm a world renowned wallet warrior, so I like MAKING credits when I grind or try to win a contest.  You guys seem to pick Tech Tree tanks that either have low credit coefficients and/or they require prammo to pen higher tier or heavy tanks.  I lost millions with the IS-3, whereas had it been with the IS-6, Defender, or Glacial, I would have made 4-8 million.  Same here with the Cromwell.  It's a good tank, but requires prammo for many tanks - the Cromwell B, for me, would have been a better choice.

THANK YOU AGAIN FOR RESPONDING!  I'll be more careful with my posts going forward now that I know you guys are ON IT!

While this wasn't directed towards me, I have been begging for a competition involving tank Destroyers.

Back in the summer there were a few competitions involving Two or more tanks I.E. the T23E3 Nomad Contest which involved KV-13 and Comet. The top 25 damage records in a single battle.

http://forum.wotblit...__fromsearch__1

Why not do something involving Churchill GC and AT 8, those two get no love and are fairly easy to obtain. What about Nashorn and Jg. Pz. IV, SU-152 and SU-100 M1 (people love those two so I see no issue with them), Hellcat and Jackson.

Everything that gets involved in these competitions are kinda boring and repetitive since TDs are never involved.

I mean at the very least Jackson and Hellcat both have turrets.

(Also in That picture the crew probably died  )

I personally feel like 2 separate tanks should be chosen each month. More variety. This should also be advertised more on the forums. Get the community aware so they can join in.

It's kind of a problem, picking these tanks aren't they?

See, the problem is, it would a little hard to do premium tanks because a majority of the community would not have that tank. Pick the Glacial 112, for insance. I happen to have it, and I'm fairly decent in it ( I've Aced in it before). However, a lot of people would miss out. Honestly, tanks I would like to see are the Churchill I, the T-34-85 or the T-43, and the Pz. 3/4. All have fairly decent credit coefficients, or they can be used really well.
