I have an old Lenovo w510 that I use as a beater laptop to play Blitz and other games when I travel.

I got it free a while back so I expected problems but haven't had any I couldn't fix until now.

After closing the game, I got a BSOD saying that I had a video TDR Error, and it now occurs during initial boot, every time. A quick Google search said was a driver failure in my Nvidia graphics card. Old Lenovos have a second Intel card, which I was able to switch to. However, the card is so out of date, that the last driver available was from 2008, so I can't run any games off it.

I can, however update the Nvidia's drivers, but doing that still results in a TDR Error. I have been at it for about 4 hours now with no luck, maybe someone with more experience will be able to guide me in the right direction.

I am running a DXdiag as I write this, and I will add that as it becomes available.

Dude its time to update your device..I don't think your system will even take a updated VC..but if it does, that's probably the fix..

Sad thing is that I did. With a Lenovo 50/700. That had a bad hard drive out of the box.

Moral of the story, don't buy Lenovo.
