Is this pretty much true overall the purpose of these vehicles are to combat other types of vehicles

 

Heavies > TDs

Heavies < Mediums

Mediums < TDS

 

 

Mediums can flank and take out Tank destroyers

Heavies can take out mediums in frontal engagements preventing them from advancing through a flank.

Tank Destoryers prevent Heavies from advancing on a flank

 

If you wanted me to include Lights 

 

Lights < Tds

Lights > Mediums

Lights = Heavies

 

Lights can flank TDS

Lights can't take on Mediums 1 on 1 most of the time

Lights can take over some Heavies, but some mobile Heavies can eat up light tanks as well.

 

 

I use this to play a wot Rock, Paper, Scissors game with my younger siblings.

 

Light, Heavy, Medium, Tank Destroyer - FIRE

When talking tier X it should be

 

Mediums>Heavies

Mediums>TDS

Mediums>Heavies and TDS

This is blitz, and these maps are small with shorter corridors for long range fighting and plenty of cover from terrain and static obstacles. Meds and lights can get up close and personal with heavies and TDs long before the latter two can deplete the former's health pool at range. Pre-nerf, not even distance was a big barrier for Tier 9 & 10 Meds.

 

Slow speed and/or a lack of turret burdens most high tier TDs and slow heavies aren't much better off. The heaviums that can keep up with mobile formations are also usually the only other counters to the speedy assets on the other team, apart from the speedy assets on green.


Finished...a buncha Tier 10s. Effff it, I only got 10 fingers. Lost count after that...there's only a few missing
