This was screenshot from the Microsoft store review section. There are more suspect positive reviews like this buried here and there among all the negative reviews in reaction to 3.8.

The story is about how a government slowly turns into a power-hungry regime, no longer attentive to the needs of the people but instead robbing and pillaging from them, similar to how WG screwed over everyone with this update.

it's funny...in really sad sorta way.

Fake reviews are prohibited by apple, I doubt a big company like Wargaming will risks to do so.

Abd yet many still try it. While I'm not sure if WG paid for that review, I would not be the least bit surprised to find out they did.

This was on the Microsoft Store where things are more wild-west.

 

Microsoft actively tries to highlight positive reviews to help generate sales for developers so that they can get their cut.

 

Also, rich people play by different rules. I highly doubt it's any different in the Apple world.

Wow.  The amount of 1 stars on the Play Store is staggering.  They'll either do something quite substantial to counter this tsunami of angst they've created or they'll be done.  Pretty tricky to ammo rack yourself, but WG pulled it off masterfully.

Not too surprised actually. I think they pay people to defend them on this forum. Ever notice the same few people who defend WG no matter what they do?
