As far I know the tanks average alpha damage is bases on the "caliber of the gun" but something is wrong happening in this game.

1) t110e4 uses 155mm caliber gun

     Grille uses 150mm gun

     Obj268 uses 152 mm gun.

Above 3 tanks do 640 as avg Alpha damage which is completely wrong happening in the game since t110e4 need to get more Alpha damage than those 2 but it's not happening.

2)t44 uses 100mm gun which got 280 avg Alpha damage.

T54 uses same 100mm gun but it got 310 Alpha damage.

I don't know why t44 got less Alpha damage for same caliber gun.

3) is3 uses 122 mm gun which got 400 Alpha damage

But is8 uses same 122 mm gun which got 420 Alpha damage.

Why this difference for same calibers gun also.

I request Blitz team to change these values correctly as soon as possible also fv4202 designed to mount 120mm gun so better remove 105mm gun with 120mm gun.

I believed it's spelled "alpha", not alfa
Some people say the Type 62 is overpowered. Having >500 battles and a 67% winrate, I may agree. However, none of y'all realize just how uncomfortable it is to sit down on these flimsy plastic seats with "Made in China" emblazoned on them. I mean, my cupholder just broke in half. How the f#%$ am I supposed to fire 250mm pen HEAT shells at the fronts of Tier 8 heavies if I have to be holding my Red Bull in one hand at the same time? It's ridiculous.

Its not just the caliber of the gun - it is also the weight of the shell.

Your math is incomplete.

I’ve noticed a strong lack of Spare Parts. Is that intended?

No, it is not. This problem will solve itself with time. Many players have several dozens of vehicles in their Garages, so they don’t have enough Spare Parts for the entire vehicle fleet. But you will gradually collect enough Spare Parts to unlock new slots for purchased tanks in time.

I don't agree with you Boris.

If u look at tier9 or 10 meds which uses 105 mm caliber gun get 350 alpha damage.

It doesn't even consider the weights of shells their.

The NATO Med's all use a compatible ammunition -- so similar ammo

How do you know what WG considers?

5.56mm and .22LR are essentially the same caliber yet 5.56mm / .223 is far far more powerful.

#1 NA in rage-selling every tank. #2 NA buying them back.

But you are showing data that disproves that.

So - there must be something else than just caliber of the gun.

Mass of the projectile?

Speed of the round in flight?

Maybe just the streak I'm on, but has anyone noticed more bounced shots after update. I play tier 7 a lot to get credits and I've never bounced so many shots before. The AMX never used to bouch shots like this. Maybe just me.

One word: balance.

It may not always be a good one, but there's always an in-game reason some alpha damages have been tweaked.

You guys are so stupid. You do realize that the alpha damage is based on the TIER of the gun, not the caliber (correct me if I am wrong, but if two guns share a caliber and don't share a tier, then alpha will be different). But in most cases, the alpha damage is based on caliber. And they are never going to fix that thing with the top tier TD's because I'm just fine with that. (And I'm sure that they don't really care that much about 2-3-5 mm).

Hate will always be prevalent.

Cancer 49 A will never be forgotten, which shows how the 49 should be balanced.

Alpha is not a linear function of caliber.

Way too many unaccounted for variables.

Plenty of areas they can make the numbers fit however they like.

I don't agree with the math, but I do agree with the point that the T110E4 and E3 deserve more alpha.

On PC it goes:

150mm: 750

Almost all 152mm: 750

T110E3 and E4 155mm: 800

Jagdpanzer E 100 170mm: 1050

FV 215b (183) 183mm: 1450 (AP)

Now, there are exceptions to this rule, like the new 152.4mm mega deep on the Type 5 Heavy, but for the most part it's linear. Big guns in Blitz have it rough once you get to Tier 9-10. Sure, the Deathstar is OP still for some reason, but the guns don't hit hard enough. This is especially true with the Grille 15, which doesn't have anything going for it. I think big guns need bigger alpha.
