I had a stupid and I apologize. 

 

Heya Tankers.

 

For the past few tournaments there has been an issue where some teams have registered but did not get the option to play in a match. 

 

I have been looking into this issue and have run out of options of what it could logically be. The issue is if we have, let's say, 100 teams registered and confirmed fewer than 100 will be pulled into the groups. The result is that some teams will not play or get a prize.

 

I have informed the devs about this - but am going to ask for your help in gathering as much info as I can so we can run down this issue ASAP.

 

Some people have brought up a hypothesis that only teams registering late are not being pulled into groups (within an hour of registration closing) Let me know if you have seen any other patterns from teams that did not get pulled into groups.

Hello last round my team didn't make it. We registered in the last hour and It showed that we did, but when we went to the "Matches" tab it said "In accordance to the rules your team has been removed" I don't remember the wording exactly, but that was the jist.

In the last tournament, on Friday 5/19/17, the team I was in registered, but did not receive matches. We completed registration within the last hour, but did not get the above mentioned "in accordance to the rules your team has been removed" message. It listed us as registered, but we were not listed in the matches chart under any of the groups.

So - 

 

I was instructing CabbageMechanic in how to create the tournament brackets and groups since I was going to be out last Friday. I left very specific and clear instructions.

 

That were wrong.

 

So he followed my instructions. Which were to create the groups an hour or so before the registration ended. Because I was on the old timing system in me head.

So anyone who registered after Cabbage created the groups was left out of the tournament.  

 

So now the questions:

• Will there be compensation? 

Nope. While it was my mistake - there is no easy way to track down all the teams affected and credit them.

• Is it fixed?

Yup.

Does anyone know what happened to tonights t6 tourney? Is this postponed for 24hrs and will run Friday night? This is getting very frustrating as a captain to coordinate 9 peoples schedules when no one cares to pay attention to the finer details of making this run.  The brackets were never set who dropped the ball this time?

This issue is not fixed.  At least two clans I know of were left out in the last two tournaments as well - May 23 and May 25.  Our clan has now showed up for four tournaments and not been able to play.   What is happening and when will it be fixed?

My clan was left out of the 17th, 19th and the 25th tournaments.

 

And a shorter registration period than usual plus server downtime prevented us from taking part in the tournaments on the 23rd.

 

And all my emails to WoTBlitz_Tournaments@wargaming.net have never seen a reply.

 

Nobody likes to be ignored. It is rude.

 

Holding an event that promises rewards and inviting people to participate and then excluding them is rude.

 

I thoroughly enjoy the tournaments when I get to take part in them.

 

I wish whoever is responsible for this problem would fix it.

 

Discouraged and frustrated is how I feel after assembling a team only to have all my efforts and the efforts of others wasted.

 

I see in a post above that CC_Sly says the problem was fixed and there will be no compensation. Well the problem had not been fixed and there should be compensation.

my group was supposed to be in the tier 5-6 tourney on may 25 2017, our tem never got any matches. is there a reason for this?

Cannot access team for tournament tonight, cant make new one, says already have one. Any ideas what is going on? This will be the 4th tournament we have had trouble with, ready to give up. Have turned in tickets but got form letter back in the past, is very frustrating.

CC_Sly are you aware that, at least for everyone I talked to, we still see on our screens the May 9th tournament line up of teams as CURRENT only the date was changed and now reads December 31st.

 

Why is this? That tournament is long over.

 

Could that be a problem and if so could it be the teams on that list who are being left out of tournaments seeing as how it is still listed as current? I know we are on that list and we have been left out repeatedly.

After registration closed the May 31st tournaments disappeared? Why cannot wargaming tournament folks ever get this right!

Is the tournies cancelled again?

Looks like another tournament crash...  Please do everyone a favor: don't schedule any more tournaments until these issues are fixed. Stuff happens, ok I get that.  But just take the system down and fix it.  Come back when it's ready.  Constantly setting aside time for these disappointments is no good.
