Relax OP, they're all just bitter sour grapes. I'm finding it hard to get any love from any player I'm not acquainted with and pretty easy to get down voted.

I'm still trying to use it like it's meant to be used. I passed out a worthy opponent to evil00genius tonight and he did the same for me.(only vote I got) I also upvoted a stranger in a helsing that had a 3700 damage game at canal then a KV2 that actually listened to me at the ruins. We both had 3 kills. The guy that had the game below never said a word other than call directions at the start of the match and then ask the heavies to push.(which they didn't) He never got a single upvote for carrying 6 pieces of trash and winning a 1 vs 2 because the only other guy left alive on his team was AFK either.

I took my Hetzer out for a Derp. At start team member chats out........"Sticking together wins"

I responded with........"Being good wins" :great:

We won.

But you introduced two ideas and that immediately made it all too complicated.

Does the new rating system matter- I could care less- does this game matter without spending money

It is a tool used by turdbuckets. In my KV-1, bottom tier, near the end of the game in mines, I and another tanker in a German medium are engaging a T67 who was sniping from the N hill, by the water. The other tanker kills the T67. Then a PZ of some kind calls for help. He's engaged on the exact opposite end ot the map (S sniping position) with a tier VI light tank, and it's not going well. I head that way, but he gets killed while I'm en route and then spends the next three minutes calling me and the other guy campers, and asking people to downvote us.

I decide to cap. Other teammate engages the enemy light tank in the water. He dies. I wait; periodically I get spotted. Can't see the guy, though. At about 97 on the counter he manages to pen me, but then I see him and destroy him. I did ca. 900 in damage (not great, but respectable), and I got a "Steel Wall." But I also get an "Unsportsmanlike Conduct." Thanks, turdbucket. 'Cause in my KV-1 I can really cross the [edited]map in time to help you in your fight with a light tank whose driver clearly has more skill than you.

I use it like its intended and I really like the way they implemented it. I haven't experienced any major problems with my honour rating. The few downvotes I get don't seem to have a major negative impact.

OP, I bet the inactivity votes are not hurting your rating very much, it's likely the 'provocative communication' marks you've gotten.

I were designing this, I'd give different weighting to different types of feedback just as I would in any type of feedback form. And if I were trying to improve the environment in the game, provocative communication would be a major no-no.

I'm now down to 3-2 and soon should be at 0-2.  Guess the banhammer is right around the corner for me...

If a player already has 5 stars do you waste one of your few upvotes on that player?  I have been trying to use my upvotes on players who can benefit from a positive vote.  I also use a lot of my negative votes for those players with about 400 average damage that are dropping zeroes in tier X games

Anyone know if Unsporting_Conduct is taken?

Look. I'm sure as hell no saint, I definitely deserved the "provocative communication" negatives, because well I call 'em like I see 'em, and people can't handle the truth. All I'm saying is the plethora of afk negatives I'm getting are all [edited]

With the new update I believe you'll be able to mark the red team down for provocative communication, so don't worry, you'll get marked down for that in future instead.
