Well for my team the invites are not being received.  Even after deleting and resending they don't work.

Lolz. 1,000 spare parts for first place...

The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

If it helps locate the issue my team name is Foxtrot Mike Lima.  And there is much irony in that name.

Thank you for the update, Niora. It's really unfortunate the developers and event planners had not talked about this sooner. The first thing I thought as they started hyping the update last week was, 'they are doing the update right before Tuesday's tournament;  That's a tight window.' And sure enough, here we are- bumping the tournament by a day.

I hope you have a way to re-open registration so we can get different players in if those on locked rosters are not available tomorrow.

Oh, I've already created a bracket, it's too late to open registration :(

So, lets sum this up:
Multiple issues on people even being able to accept invitations in game.
Tournament is scheduled on update day, because apparently people don't talk to each other
Now tournament is bumped a day and the rosters are locked to those players that signed up thinking they'd play tonight...not tomorrow.
Yup, seems to be running smooth.

Because we care of our players. For sure we could held tournament at the same day and time but who guarantee that all of participants downloaded and installed an update and have an opportunity to play? It's not a question of technical problem which affects the tournament. It's a question of comfort to play and care of players from our side.

The registration took place for a three days. Than we created a brackets. There is a  positive case too: when bracket created you may know your foes, maps and have a time to prepare tactics day before the tournament.

I think you're missing the point on the middle one.  Every person on this forum knew the update was going to happen yesterday, yet there was still a tournament scheduled several days in advance of the update. Why?
"Caring for our players" would eliminate the issue before it impacted the players by moving the tournament at the last minute.   Not opening up registration because you've "already created a bracket" shows that avoiding the additional work and inconvenience seems to be the issue, not "caring for our players."
At a minimum, "caring for our players" would mean WG has implemented a fix to this issue, so it doesn't happen again. Maybe you can elaborate on that?

Um.....are you even reading the post?  How are you "caring for your players" when you aren't even paying enough attention to your own update and tournament dates?

Caring for your players would involve not announcing and then bumping an event due to an update that YOU PLAN!

That's like planning a birthday party on Christmas day and then bumping it and apologizing because you "care about the attendees"

Another example of the usual WG care and attention to detail........sigh.

@Niora

With all due respect are you purposely being obtuse or are you actually slow?

You miss the fact that people HAVE REAL LIVES!  We plan our schedules based on the times and dates YOU (WG) sets out and when you all of a sudden change them because of a completely avoidable timing issue it SCREWS UP OUR PLANS!

We have families, jobs, social lives!

Sometimes we rearrange our schedules to be available for an event and then low and behold.....YOU CHANGE THE DATE....all of a sudden we can't attend because we've already adjusted things for a certain date/time.

Understand I'm not insensitive to the fact that S#%T happens and things need to be rescheduled, but when it's COMPLETELY YOUR (WG) FAULT AND COMPLETELY AVOIDABLE AND UNNECESSARY IT PISSES US OFF!

Get your head in the game.....WG.

Welp, my clan originally had 9 able to play and thanks to the reschedule, we're now down 4 players leaving us with just 5.

WG, why do you always have to schedule tournaments on the same days as updates? This has been an issue for the last half year.

At least unlock the rosters for tournaments so I can bring other clan members to substitute when you pull some crap move like this

Can't really describe it better than this, but the lack of comprehension here is pretty stunning. "Looking out for your players" doesn't mean anything if you're "saving" us from a problem that is 100% within Wargaming's powers to avoid in the first place.
