SO WG has FINALLY put together some tournaments for next week. HUGE problem with the start times. 8:00 PT/11:00 ET, REALLY? What about the poor guys that have to get up 6am and go to work? Tournaments have been suspended for what, two months now and then we get THIS? Just another nail in the coffin of this once really fun game.

Well at least they asked and went with a time that the most people said was good.  In the past west coast guys had issues with it being so early.

They split the tournaments up into two groups: 1 group would start at a convenient time for the West Coast, while the other group would start at a convenient time for the East Coast

Tomio Hara was the chief of Japanese tank development during the pre war period and WWII

Who/where did they ask about tournament times? I must've missed that.

They should be able to split the times up to accommodate BOTH coasts. Doesn't seem like it should be that big of a deal. AT LEAST make them on a weekend where we might be more inclined to deprive ourselves of sleep and not suffer so much the next day.

If you don't want to play a tournament a little past your bed time, then don't play in it. Wait until when they have them with good times for the east coast later in the week.

Thanks for that nugget of knowledge.

It's been a long time since the last tournament and we are eager to get back to it. This timing probably will shut us out though.

i feel you. From the poll they setup, apparently most ppl prefer 9pm est, and they setup 11pm anyway, they dont give $hit about it.

They need to find middle ground on the start times. 8:pm PT makes tournaments out of touch for the east coast and 6pm pt doesn't work for the working people on the west coast. The was a poll? What is wrong with a 9pm est starting time?

Doesn't WG realize that clans are made up from people from all different time zones. My clan is spread all across North America.

And here it is tournament at 11:00! I do want to play in the tournament but some of us work for a living I think the start times is sh**y!

And for Tomio to start at 11:00 and get up at 2:00 am you must live on the West coast and don't work?I live on the East coast and for me staring at 9 would be pushing it.I drive truck for a living would you want your family out on the road knowing that their is a driver that had 2 hours sleep and he is driving a tractor trailer and hauling 137,000 around. Come on Wargames do something right for a change.
