It's nice that I was critical of WG in this thread, saying that our comments on this server won't be worth a grain of salt, and my post gets deleted from the thread.  What's the point of giving feedback if you get scrubbed out for being critical?

I'm all done with these new Russia mods. Go censor somewhere else.

I generally don't make comments but now I will. Update 4.0 is average ok. The rank battles are not ok. I feel that If you are going to hold a hall of fame tournament based on these ranks then each person should have to battle their way into the tournament. Not just have a tier 9 or 10 tank. You should have to battle to get yourself in. That's a I'm saying for now. Thanks and have a great day.

Hello tankers,

It's time for us to get to know each other better. From now on, we (Zloydd and MaXSty1er) will communicate with you on this forum together with our colleagues. We represent the RU region and play on the RU server, so don’t let our zero battle stats confuse you—we’re experienced players and know our favorite game inside and out.

Our aim is to give you first-hand information about the game. You can come to us with any questions about updates, new features, or in-game mechanics. If we don’t have an answer, we’ll ask the developers sitting next door!

In return, we expect your constructive comments on our game. You are free to praise the things you like or complain about the things you dislike. We’ll do our best to give you prompt feedback on problematic issues. But please remain polite when criticizing to avoid misunderstandings.

Currently, we have no plans for changing the forum structure; everything will remain as it is. However, if you have any suggestions as to forum structure improvements, we will consider them.

We understand that time differences may hinder communication, but we will try to catch time intervals when everyone is awake, or will answer your questions while it is night in America.

At the moment, we will support English only. We are aware that it is not ideal for non-native English speakers (it’s not ideal for us either). But we’re doing this to provide you with even more information on the project so that you understand how and in what direction it develops. Communicating in the same language will allow us to give you the most accurate information faster, avoid mistakes in release notes. In future, we are planning to add support for other languages as well.

We’re looking forward to our productive cooperation. And excuse us if our English isn't that good.

Hello and welcome to the NA forum.

Now let's address the elephant in the room... Updates 3.8 and 3.9

I'll be brutally honest here, I really enjoy the game but despise the changes that these updates brought.

3.8 almost made me quit the game and it convinced me to stop spending money with Wargaming all together. Spare Parts are bad, timers are worse, and the way my current (as of 3.7) equipment was removed from my garage was outright theft. Additional spare parts don't fix the issue. I feel robbed and giving me an opportunity to earn what was taken back is not an acceptable solution.

The premium round changes that came with 3.9 were poorly implemented as well. The cost changes were not implemented across the board and players were not compensated for what they had already purchased and had stocked in their garages.

Updates 3.8 and 3.9 were a direct slap to light and medium tanks (especially at tier 7). In many cases these tanks were already nerfed in previous updates. Now they fire less often, cause less damage, and in many cases are fighting heavy tanks that were buffed by the equipment changes.

It is my opinion that 3.8 & 3.9 took something that was working fine and made it overly complicated. There is absolutely no reason why equipping a tank on a PC version of the same game should be easier than equipping a tank in the mobile version. That is completely backwards.

The equipment has been CHANGED. Thus, the way of getting it was also changed. Now, for some spare parts and a reasonable wait, you can literally increase the very armor of your tank, or even increase your traverse speed (which is great for td's), tipping the scales way more in your favor. You could do that with old equipment. Not to mention that old equipment cost a TON. Now, the ability to keep equipment and switch it around makes things much more interesting.

If if you had a tank with a full loadout of the old equipment face off against a tank with just half a loadout or more of the new equipment, the new equipment tank will probably win because of the more versatile stat boosts and the ridiculous number of buffs it adds to the stats of the tank. Ventilation, rammer, and protective kit can improve a tank, but it won't increase the penetration of its gun to be able to use those buffs against a well-armored opponent who can use new equipment to get those buffs AND increase its armor, mobility, firepower, crew and/or module protection, and accuracy all at the same time. THAT is why spare parts are hard to come by: they are more valuable because of what they get you.

I keep seeing over and over that you and wargaming are upset that players keep discussing the m60.

You tried to compare the NA servers to other servers in regards to it, but that does not exactly match up. Other servers have different rules than the NA, and people in other servers live in regions where it was generally accepted.
In the NA server this was found completely unacceptable by players in general, and wargaming offered little to no communication on the issue aside from "sorry about your luck".

So until such a point that wargaming provides additional information, and likely some sort of reward for the lack of communication, players discussing it will likely continue, regardless of whether or not wargaming is pleased by this.

Personally I don't care about the m60, but when I see a wargaming employee crying in frustration over this topic, I think it is time that the group responsible for the m60 give away come forward, admit they messed up, and apply a sort of fix.

Welcome to the forum,  I hope that you can look through the community's bitterness with wargaming and know that you are appreciated.

I disagree. The root issue had not been addressed.

Problem: I had items in my garage that were removed without proper compensation.

Allowing me the option to earn these items back other time is not an acceptable solution.

I see the other tanks with their markings but not the cross on anything German. Well.. it's on the modern equipment again today and has been since 1955. Russians have the Red Stars on the KV-1 and some similarities on others. Did or has anyone forgotten the Cold War or the very real renewal of a modern Soviet threat? Is Communism the new cool now..maybe I'm offended by that concept. Don't want Historical Markings on actual Historical Vehicles.. then get out of the business. You can't have it both ways. It's bias and with the cross on equipment today to be point blank it's prejudice. It's still labeling All Germans as Nazis and still saying History needs to be hidden. Again, you can't have it both ways. As for these Star Wars like 40k series some of what I saw mentioned lasers...? Really? Against tanks from 7 generations ago.?! All of it is getting outrageous.! Then to top it off you all still haven't listened about timers. Haven't fixed ghost shells, haven't fixed ping, haven't fixed targets disappearing and just about all teams are talking about in battle each time ( so it's you WOTB ) not your players equipment.! Good tanks and TD's nerfed out as. I have about (5) I won't touch now. Still won't make premiums as premium ready so why buy..? and then to make matters worse players from multiple regions still can't communicate. I've been suggesting an autotranslator for like 21 months now... still nothing! As for your Non- Military Dis-Honor system you all incorporated; you've been being informed thatnits been being abused by salty downvotes because someone gets whacked in a fight. I used to get super angry about it... now ... I realize they're badges of real Honor.! So go ahead.. keep em Installed. I keep records when I've performed and been downvoted to protect my account.! Which brings me to another point. Supoort says they have no control over erroneous negatives placed against a player and won't discuss who does. So... WOTB ; who'd you have to sell out to for a development team outside of wotb to hurt WOTB 's player base? Answer that straight up and own it.! There's not a(n) elephant in the room..there's a herd trampling on the fine rugs that onced sprawled the floor and the China that dressed the shelves. 4th point of contact extract....

1) What the heck does a struggle for global hegemony that ended almost 30 years ago have to do with what decals our tanks get?
2) Perhaps you don't understand what a "soviet" is. Today's Russian Federation is a marvellous example of what happens when unfettered capitalism fills a sudden power vacuum. Worker and peasant councils (soviets) are NOT making a comeback. Not in the near-to-medium future and probably not ever.

3) So you want more Iron crosses? What tank OTHER than the KV-1 "has the red star" (FYI thats a camo you have to unlock for gold) do you really, really want WG to be cranking out more country-specific camouflages instead of... you know... adding or fixing features we've been asking them to do for years (ahem, platoon indicator light anyone?)

__________________________________________________________________________________

So for our new friends from RU server, and thanks for coming to speak with us, I'd like to know:

1) if there are any plans to update the friend's list to include an amber or yellow dot next to the name to indicate they are already in a platoon.

2) Also, I am happy to see a 7th level for crew skills but much more than this I would like to see new crew skills released, especially for light tanks. Will this ever happen?

3) When might we expect a Chinese tech-tree?

Sorry if any of this has been addressed already, I kind of just skimmed the thread.

Thanks again.

I have one for you, what kind of math is used to calculate the credits per battle? I've destroyed as many as 3 tanks, won the battle, and still lost 8K credits. Sometimes when I do lose the battle, I've lost as many as 36K credits. This happens more using high tier tanks, Tier VIII and up. It almost makes me feel like giving up using those tanks.

So I just destroyed 6 tanks in 1 battle, had the highest score in both damage and XP, and still lost over 1K credits, does that make sense?

What is the purpose for the perpetual spare parts starvation that players endure under the new equipment system?

Will you be introducing new ways to earn or win spare parts?

By now you can see the toxic nature of the forum and why most players avoid it all together. The same few have the gall to monopolize it for their own, that's got to change!

The parts fiasco has driven many away along with the last few updates leaving a vacuum filled with newbies with wallets, thinking that they'll buy higher tier tanks and do better. That degraded the game so much that it's useless to even expect decent teams in higher tier games.

The maps are way too small for higher tier matches to be played on. Naval frontier is a step in the right direction, it being the only map with decent room for a tier 5 and above match to be played. The rest are so predictable it's just a rush for the same position and the teams with the bigger guns win, not strategy!

The moderators and tech support are virtually useless positions, they hardly make any impact on improving anything when they are called on. Also the ingame reporting system is useless, being abused by groups or underutilized by it's limited number of uses.

There are so many ways to improve this game but the input given by the players seem to be ignored or the opposite seems to happen in every update. You may claim to be sitting beside a developer but is he just ignoring the word on the forum's or just intentionally throwing us under the bus to enlist stupid kids into the game with no sense so the money keeps rolling in, most adult players know how to vote with their pocket book!

You need to try very hard to regain the trust of the players that been around since the beginning days. Every time it seemed that you tried we found out you weren't being forthcoming and honest about listening. You also catered to a select few for input, not mature reasonable people who actually may have logical reasoning skills to make arguments! Open channels of communication between them would be ideal and more effective to improve your negative image as a gaming company in this market, a win for both of us!
