Is fixing the booster screen coming soon. Why did you change it and what is your reasoning for removing the booster description.

Hey Ribble, on the subject of boosters, why is there no indicator on the home screen when you have boosters equipped? It is very easy to accidentally leave them on and waste them all when you just wanted to use them for a x3 or x5 first victory bonus on a particular tank.

Reasonable point. Boosters interface is something that might be improved in future.

We adjust tiers 7-8 gradually.

No prems in rating battles? Definitely not.

Ribble, does WG have any plans to improve the quality of MM in regards to Ratings battles of tiers 7/8? Because as of right now, a new player can have 20 games under their belt, win/buy a tier 7-8, and just jump straight into a Ratings Battle. This is bad for both parties, because the new player is going to get constantly attacked in chat, and he/she will be handicapping his/her teammates.

Imo you should need to have purchased at least one tech tree tier 8, or have a minimal number of games played in a premium minus a tech tree tier 8 to participate in said premium. Thoughts? Not just from WG, but you as an individual.

MM in rating battles considers player's rating after calibration. Calculating premium tanks battles and researchable tank battles is not an option. I see 2 problems in your suggestion:
- limits for those who buy premium vehicles. When you pay for something in online game you don't expect to receive restrictions$

- every new condition considered by MM will expand time players spend in queue. Making players wait too long is not what we want to do. We have to keep balance between waiting time and comparable team ratings.

I can understand your second grievance. But strictly in my opinion, when a player first joins the game, they really have no place in the higher tiers or special modes. They're just starting to learn the game, that's why we have the tiers and progression system. If you buy a tier 8 premium, you should get what you pay for, a tier 8 (which you might not have the experience to handle properly) that lets you earn extra credits.

The ratings battles are a whole different situation in my opinion. They are for experienced players to be able to fight worthy competition without having to worry about the luck based matchmaking system in standard battles. Buying a tier 8 doesn't automatically make you a good or experienced player, so why should just spending money or getting lucky give you access to something that, as my understanding of it goes, is a special reward for good players learning the game and getting to fight along side also experienced players without the chance they'll have to deal with the typical crowd, which as I see it, is exactly what allowing these inexperienced players to participate by the entering of a credit card has done.

Again ribble, I respect your opinion as an individual, but this is my take on the matter, which is what a forum is all about, expressing different views to get the most accurate information and have a good time.:)

I can't agree with this point. Rating battles are for those who wants competitive gameplay, for those who wants to fight equal opponents. If a newbie purchases tier 7-8 prem we can't restrict his will to get into rating battles.

Speaking of Rating Battles, could you look into accepting modules other than the very top for some vehicles?

One example is the LTTB. Many players, including me, use the second, not the top, gun due to its gun depression. Another is the IS-6; most players use the second gun and not the top due to the higher DPM and unreliability of HEAT shells.

But the ranked queues are so small that you get everybody in a battle with no real stratification of ranking levels... that combined with the fact that there’s no real incentive to play ranked means that even less people are likely to play that mode. It is also in my experience that teams are generally worse in ranked games with steamrolls of 0-7 or 0-7 games being as common if not more common than in random encounter games.

Sometimes, you just gotta sit back and watch them all burn. Don't forget to bring popcorn. You're going to need a snack.

Ribble, another tank to mention is the Rhm-Borsig WT. The recent nerfs on the 15 cm gun encourage us players to use the 12,8 cm gun. Unfortunately I am not allowed to mount the 12,8 cm gun in Rating Battles, it does not allow me to. They are both Tier X guns after all, I’d like to be able to use both gus in Rating Battles.
