Trying to grind to the Pershing, but the T20 is brutal. Kinda similar to Comet, but when I try to play it like a Comet, I find out that it's slower and has less armor, a longer reload, and less pen.

What equipment do I want? How do I play it? Do I get the 7 sec reload gun?

I used the 90mm gun, and played it as an assassin. I would always look up when the enemy is preoccupied, take a shot or two, and hide again before they could deal with me. Tank has no armor, so don't get hit. Tank has no DPM, so don't brawl unless securing a kill on a one or two shot tank. Use the gun's alpha to trade with smaller guns if needed. But overall, play very carefully, as you are in a pretty bad tank. Don't rely on your gun to shoot your way out of bad situations - it cannot.

I am one of the few who loves the T20.  It is a sneaky assassin.  Use the ridges to exploit ur gun depression.  Though a little slow it packs a punch.  Don't get close,  keep engagements at mid range

You gun is a powerhouse, you should be playing mid Ranged and on the sides, basically you're a annoyance to those who don't pay enough attention

^^^^This. A good solid, but very underrated and underappreciated tank, Abuse gun depression and shoot pramo when needed.

Play sorta like a TD since you have negative armor and a slow gun

 

It used to be kinda good for running in and duking it out but then it got powercreeped into the 9th circle of hell and is now the smallest kid on the tier 7 medium football team.

I disagree. I quite like it,  as a matter of fact. Quite versatile, although the traverse and acceleration takes some getting used to.

Pershing has better armour but less pen I think. Once you get to Patton it's fricken amazing

Hull down Pershing can be a terror. Like any tanks though it's all about exploiting strengths and weaknesses.  As for the T20, I played it similarly to the Hellcat. Shoot from stealth. Once spotted, relocate and run away. Get camo back up and repeat. At no point should you run with the pack and brawl.
