Man - F these AMX duck tanks. I just pumped 160 rounds of 20mm APCR into one from front, sides, and back, and at point blank range and didn't do a single point of damage. WG is playing these tanks like they are T5 or 6 on the lowest levels. The game is full of this garbage now, and nothing short of 30mm ammo will touch them even at point blank range. 50,000 credits down the toilet for nothing at all.

If the armor on that tank was that heavy, it wouldn't be able to move, and the gun would be the size of a pellet rifle. Another impossible tank design that couldn't exist in the era presented.

Way to go, WG. Thanks for another update that f'ed the game up even more than it was, without addressing any of the underlying issues.

Wrong, completely and utterly wrong. The AMX 40 was the successor of the S-35 and S-40 Calvary tanks and was designed to beat high on guns with sloping and thick armor. While it has a low powered engine, the torque was high and enable a consistent speed for the tank on flat ground. The gun on it is the same gun on the S-35 and S-40, one of the best tank guns of the late 30s.

This tank is going to smoke your little 20mm firing German spec because it was made to do that. Next time don't try to solo it and let the better tanks take care of it.

Favorite tanks: E-75, Cromwell, Nashorn, KV-2, SU-152 and the Shinob

Lines currently grinding: T57 ,STB-1, Obj. 268 & Maus

The OP nailed it.  There was little need to nerf most of these tanks.  I think in the end they will just end up with a bunch of tanks with different names but have the same speed, gun and armor stats.  Then it would be completely fair right?  Why don't they just leave a single tank in the game and then viola - completely fair.

There always has to be a OP tank... So that players would waste SP, etc. on them... Then they will make some other least played tank OP... and now players have to move on to that one and waste more SP on them... Not everyone is patient, so some players probably gold them, etc... PROFIT for WG, players dont matter.

Also, missile exercise is still going... and you can buy spare parts for gold.. that also helps WG to get some profit.. I dont think that the timing of this update was a coincidence, that it happened during this event, when you can buy quite a big amount of SP for gold.
