I was hoping to have a single thread to track what Android devices players are using successfully to play the game.

This could be helpful to potential Android phone and tablet buyers to help decide what device to buy. There are a lot of good deals on slickdeals.net and fatwallet.com on Android devices, but it's difficult to know which ones will play WoT Blitz without running at 5fps.

I'm currently trying to find a cheap tablet to get for my daughter's boyfriend. He plays Blitz on a 3.5" iPhone screen. He loves the game, but he'd enjoy it more with a bigger screen. I have no clue which tablet to get for him, I plan to spend $100 tops.

Here are the devices I have personally played WoT Blitz on with success the FPS range is just what I've noticed so far from the low end to the fastest:

Model FPS
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 SM-T320 30-50
LG Nexus 5 40-55
Samsung Galaxy Note 3                         40-50

If you post your device model and your FPS, I'll update this post and add it to this table.

Man, I hate the crappy WYSIWYG editor on this forum. Can't do any nice CSS styling on the table, has to look like a 1990's website instead.

Update: I also realize that the Google Play Store isn't allowing a lot of devices that were in the original list of supported devices to install. Hopefully GenericMike can post the APK he extracted on Wednesday in this thread too so you guys can try it on your device if the Play store won't let you install it directly.

The game for Android is still not completely set. Many bugs, not full optimization, etc.

I've played on android for about a month now.. I've never had a crash... and it had higher FPS in 1.4 lol

Can't say I've encountered any bugs really either.. the closest thing I can think is the nVidia mappper wants to flip out when notifications or sound are toggled but it's not because of WoT directly.

Shield Tablet

Galaxy Note 3

Results for 1.5 are here:

** Searching my brain for things that might be bugs.. at the start of a match if a tank is directly behind you and you angle the camera inside the tank, it shows up as like bright green textures and it doesn't always happen when you do it.  Seen it only a few times since I don't try to purposely put my camera inside another tank lol.

So far so good, game running well on my devices. Note 3 is the 30s (fps) Also playing on a Samsung Note 10.1 (2012) edition with a fps of as high of 24 and a low of 12. On the low end (12 fps) its still playable. I have one more device (Apex Solo 7.85 tablet running Kit Kat) to report on but haven't played with it just yet.

Happy to report that the Apex Solo 7.85 16GB tablet runs WoTB real good. On the high end 52 fps and on the low 20. This Amazing tablet was only $89.99 at Office Depot.

Yep, I posted in it as well, if you notice, this thread was started a few hours before that one. I honestly don't care which thread gets used, but I would prefer it was in this section of the forums and stickied it'll be easy to find for people looking for device information.

Your 2013 nexus will probably play the game a lot better if you lower the resolution.  Try the same res as the original 7, I think it's 1280x800... the 2013 had 1920x1200.

GLTools can do it, there may be other apps out there that can change it's resolution.

I've been playing for a couple weeks now and my Note 3 is not experiencing any issues whether on wifi or using my data plan via at&t. No bugs or crashes. I have a few gripes about crew training and equipment but that is a design issue, not a phone one. I play during breaks at work and I'm very happy with the game so far.

Sadly I'm only getting a max of 20fps out of combat and 12 in combat with my nexus 6. This is ridiculous considering it is the most powerful Android phone out right now. They need to optimize the game more or add a graphics setting to change the resolution and the overall quality of the graphics.

Galaxy S5, but literally just started playing today. No issues so far.

And they're using CK Editor (Formerly FCK Editor) for the WYSWIGY. It's actually a very feature rich editor with a lot of configurable options and plugin support.

In the stock version of CK Editor there's even a "View Source" button that lets you edit the HTML/CSS of the editor content.

But I'm guessing WG has stripped it down a bit for the forum to avoid people doing crazy things with it.

Kindle Fire HDX 7"

45-55 FPS. Very smooth. Just wish I could use my XB One controller and knew how to link a Google account so I could purchase premium/gold/tanks.
