Here is a constructive idea for the Wargaming developers:  Develop some in-depth training tutorials in the game.

When the game first starts for a new player they have that basic training, but really it's only simple how-to training on moving and shooting, not the game-play education that new players need. This game has much too high of a learning curve right now.

WOT Blitz would be much better if players knew things like:

  • The different tank roles and tactics
  • How to find weak spots in sniper mode
  • What that circle is and why it is important to wait for it to get smaller
  • How to angle
  • How to hull-down, side-scrape, etc.
  • Tank Destroyer positioning
  • Heavies pushing/sticking together
  • Supremacy mode tactics
  • What a flank is and how to do it

They could make the incentive to do these training a gold reward - 50 gold or something simple for each tutorial completed.

Instead of making these low tiers more technical (which they now are with the new update tanks), new players need better training more than ever!

What else do they have to do, nerf more tanks? :D

They could do this just like the intro training and have it done in a few weeks. I have confidence in them. I know this for a fact because I'm a guy on the internet.

The ONLY thing I want them to add in the tutorial is instructions on how to not block teammates shots and not block them from retreating. Don't pull in front of teammates when they are obviously about to shoot an enemy tank, and don't drive directly behind them. Period!

Well, the longer a tutorial is, the less likely the person is to finish the tutorial and the more likely they are to just walk away.

Ask yourself. "How will this make WG more money".

If that answer isn't clearly obvious your idea probably won't happen.

You could have the greatest idea ever. If it doesn't turn a profit it's going to be placed in the circular file.

Sorry, that's just how I see it.

I'd prefer no tutorial at all. More noobs = better stats for me

268 tanks in the garage! (Pretty sure only Crusader6 has a larger garage)

There must be a business case for it somewhere in Minsk, because other WG titles have multiple tutorials covering different vehicle features and characteristics. Even World of Warships Blitz has several tutorials to get through.

That's why I said they would get 50 gold for each tutorial. It would be a series of short ones, like many many games have.
Madden games come to mind with all their tutorials, but it makes everyone a better player.

Well, unless they are on your team. There is nothing worse than doing more damage than the entire team combined and losing.

How do free tanks make them money? How do free crates make them money? How do missions? Yes a person can skip them for gold, but it is still something they are just doing for the players.

This isn't that radical of a request.
