Has anyone equipped it and played with it? How is it? Does it make the tank relevant again?

Noticeable difference. Big boost to alpha and pen. The tradeoff is marginally less DPM, on paper. Realistically, new gun will bounce less than 88, and shots that don't pen don't deal damage so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The E-25, skill ceiling so high it's in the next tier (basically, it's OP when used to its max. potential)

Just another demo account, nothing to see here

Mounted mine, what a difference! Fast reload with damage.

Been playing it all day - love it. Pen is good, damage is good. Reload isn't as fast, but still good.

Not sure it makes up for the nerf to my T95 - but it's nice to have one of my tanks buffed for once.

New gun < Bad team..

It was much punchier than the 8.8 bean bag shooter.

I'm just really tired right now, but I can't stop going forward right now.I have to keep moving forward to be better at things even if i'm tired of being look down upon.

It's a noticeable improvement.   It's still a non turreted TD but more menacing.

It'll set you back a shiny penny or two, but head over to customer support and submit an exception ticket to get it back. Also, never sell a premium, just in case it gets buffed into relevancy later.

Still personally hoping for a Panther 8,8 buff.

Interesting tidbit, many mid to high tier German tanks need gun buffs badly, they vastly underperform relative to their tier.

Stats I gathered from Blitzstars:

(Jagdpanther, 6.5% below the average winrate for tier 7.) (Panther M/10, 6.4% below.) (Dicker Max, Jpz IV, roughly 6% below the average tier 6.) (Panther II, 5% below average) (Ferdi, 4.6% below.) (Indien, 4.25%.)

This is in the video vault as well. But here it is again.

It is MUCH better! If you sold it submit a ticket and get it back. It's worth it.

I have watched it within first 10 minutes after video is released. I love that 10,5 gun.

I watched the video and got the tank. It is pretty awesome and fun. The gun is excellent and easy to handle. I think people still expect it to be a dud and they pay for their mistakes. Don't think I've faced any tier 9's in it yet though...so that will be interesting. It makes pretty good credits as well. Once I have enough spare parts for the 5% armour increase I am sure ill be even more pleased with it.

I've noticed that the premium tank buffs come in two's. There is one small buff then a really big one months later. Examples:

E25: rof buff few months after introduction; then apcr as standard ammo a few months ago

T34: slight mobility buff; then massive gun handling buff with improved rof and bigger health pool a few months ago

Super persh: mobility buff; then increased pen (and adjusted hit skin?) a few months ago

at15a: given pref mm (back during -2/+2); then big increase in hp and other goodies

jagdtiger 88: small mobility buff; given new gun option this past update

pm10, glacial, blaze, Panther 88, and I believe type 59 all got some small buff over the course of the past year or so. They might be up for a big one before this year ends.

Holding out hope for my Gatling Lowe with the 120mm chain gun and legendary camo that puts "Derp THIS, Scrubs!" on the mantlet.

I mean, helsing was twin barreled so I don't see why they can't add five more for the Lowe.

On an equally serious note, I've been thinking of how they could implement the m58 ontos into the game and an autoloader seems to be the only practical solution. Whether it's six sequential rounds akin to the helsing's guns or a six round clip is the big dilemma now.

The Ontos wouldn't last long enough to do much more than snap a single shot before it was vaporized. All the guns in the world won't help if the back blast from the first recoiless rifle shot makes you auto spotted. And even then with all the spaced armor around these days you'd be lucky to pen anything.

I'm not saying it wouldn't look great, just that Blitz maps are way too small for the little nugget to have any use.

The point of the game is to win.  The purpose of the game is to have fun.  They are not mutually exclusive.

One game, no bueno.

Drove for for a minute ten, bounced two shots and was annihilated. Still a 48% tank.  Only relevance it has is, kicking a dead horse full of cash to Wg.net.
