Generally I really hate playing the IS tanks in tournaments even though they are critical and I agree. But I just hate playing my is5.

Now that my amx 50 100 and t49 were nerfed what tank is a solid tournament tank? Currently the only tank I can see for tournaments right now is the ru251 for the supremacy ability to cap bases + dpm.

Check out the T32 as a support heavy, I've had some success with it.

I also much prefer the T-54 Lightweight over the RU in tourney play, it works much better as a spotter as they can poke just the strong turret out. Plus the hull will bounce shots when highly angled and can sidescrape in a pinch.

T-34 (2nd), Type 98 Ke-Ni (3rd), Pz. IV Schmalturm (4th) A-20 (6th)T34 Independance (6th), T69 (8th), Angry Connor (8th)T110E4 (9th), Ram II (9th)

Top 100: KV-2, Cruiser Mk. IV, Spähpanzer Ru 251, T-46, Spähpanzer SP I C, M4A2E4 Sherman, Type 5 Chi-Ri, VK 16.02 Leopard, M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo, T-54 ltwt., Pz.Kpfw. V/IV, Helsing HO, SU-152, SU-100M1, T54E1, Hetzer, T34

I'm not in the competitive scene much anymore but is the Type 59 not viable? I regularly play mine because of the reliable turret armor, decent mobility, and pretty consistent gun, not to mention the -7 degrees of gun depression, which is fantastic for the turret it has

The only problem with that tank is that you can't exactly open up the app and buy it, but it's definitely got a firm seat at the "good tourney tanks" table.

IS6.  Low pen gun... you never meet higher tiered tanks.  Have fun.

Mod1's a good choice for mediums.

if you want a TD, borsig I'd still probably your best bet because big gun+turret and camo.

heavies OTHER than IS series would likely be T32

Smart. It would be even smarter not to post in this thread at all.

T-44 :P

But a good med is the Type 59 or Mod1

They can take up heavy roles if needed.
