The ELC AMX in pc was my favourite tank in pc until WG nerfed the crap out of it. After I saw that they still had the original stats for maneuverability, I thought they'd have the 90 mm gun as an option. They didn't: so that made me realize this tank needs the 90 mm. It doesn't mean that it has to have the original ROF from pc (because I admit it was OP) but it still needs the punchy alpha. It made this tank, and without it feels like a frenchie who had no idea what he was doing made it. :P

It was perfect even without the 90, just sit back and relax behind a bush and lob some 75mm shots at your enemies without being detected

It's fine with the 75mm, very fun tank.

It looks silly with the 75mm.  At least model the 90mm on the tank. Make it look like the actual ELC.

Meh,.. since AFAIK it was never in service as a para-dropped tank I wouldn't worry about missing a 90 mm.

An ELC without the 90mm is just a stock elc.

You are correct in that it never entered service.  That being said the tank also never mounted anything other than a 90mm.  The prototype was designed to use the 90mm. A 75mm was never even mounted on it.

woah,.. slow down cowboy calling me correct.

;-)

I still think at Tier 5 a 90 mm on it would be needless.  To me it rings bells of the complainers that the Chaffee needed a 76 mm cause people don't like the pen on the 75 mm.

THe "real" tank was supposedly almost unworkable in tests, not the screaming rapid firing demon we have to endure on the Blitz battlefield, So just "suffer"" through your great tank. I presume the 90 mm was actually capable of pushing the tank BACKWARDS a meters when fired, I can not find  specific data on that gun but an American 120 mm impulse requires a 25 ton tank MINIMUM to be stable, this thing weighs 6 tons.

It was produced but never saw combat service. The original prototype mounted a powerful 90mm gun in a compact hull and turret designed for rapid air deployment on the battlefield.

Ergo, the ELC actually needs the 90mm to be historically accurate.

Produced is an exaggeration, a few prototypes were made (difference being hand built ones to test vs assembly line to make hundreds of identical ones)  There is no historical ELC bis to be true to. It was some wild haired project to make a fast air droppable tank killer. It OBVIOUSLY never worked well enough to go past a few prototypes. Would have loved to see it trying to fire that gun off center  while moving and sliding sideways with the recoil. SO, complaining it is historical accurate is silly, if you want accuracy try some real complaints like the KV 2 was rarely fielded  since it lost the ability to rotate its turret if the ground was even a few degrees off level. or the Tiger should have a chance to start the game immobile in any winter map due to its tracks freezing.

The tanks low pressure gun was likely game stats similar to the 75 anyway, enjoy your death water bug/

Make it a tier 6 premium but we don't need another totally OP light tank at tier 5. Even the up-gunned Shermans like the Easy 8 and Jumbo had to go up a tier. That gun in a light tank at tier 5 would be so dominant that it is all any one would use. So if you get to have the 90mm that I want the Chaffee with the AMX-13 turret and auto-loader. For that matter how about the Egyptian M4A4 which would be a Sherman with the AMX-13 turret. I will add the Sherman M50 and M51 to that list. I would love to have a Sherman with 105mm anti gun not a howitzer at tier 5.
