Nah.  That’s a u problem.

The meta has changed, but if your wr is dropping percentages, it means your still playing the the old meta.

You have to adapt.   My wr has not dropped more then half a percent, but that can easily be attributed to a multitude of factors.

My wr has flat lined, but that’s a me problem having to do with my play skill and the mix of tanks I’m playing or grinding.

You then BECOME the stupid player. See how there's an issue with your logic?

Don't guess there is much use to vent here from what I have read. I know I am not the best far from it but when I go from 55.70 to 55.40 in 2 days it can't all be me. I had some good games 1st or 2nd and still lost. 3 or 4 zero's in a lot of battles. Players staying in the open until they die. Players not going where it is called. Not staying together. Even if most goes the wrong way should we still  stay together? I know we have a lot of new players and that is the problem because they have had no training at all. Guess I will wait until the event is over or maybe until school starts. lol  What gets me more than anything is most games are wham bam and its over. Does make you wonder why it happens more on the red team than on the green team. Would like to blame matchmaking but most say its fine. Surely wargaming works to keep it right and even make it better. ????  Support acts like it is perfect. They must play on the red team. ha ha  Well I have vented not a rant. Guess it was a waste of time but I do feel a little better. Good tanking to you all.  o7

Been told to come here and post some intelligent words on MM, so here it goes.

Any matchmaking that does not take into account WR (either globally or tank specific) will only work if all players of all skill levels equally contribute and are randomly assigned to teams/games.  Over the course of 1,000 or 10,000 or 100,000 games there will be equal numbers of times you’re on a heavily weighted team and not.  That’s simple statistical theory (or a version of it).

Since neither of the two conditions above occur MM in WOT BLitz is doomed to fail and will continually result in overmatched teams.  Wining 7-0 isn’t always fun.  I’d rather be in a close game than one of those (although not always—gotta keep the wr up you know).

So while i know they don’t take into account WR I think they should.  Being a 40%er isn’t fun, I’ve been there (some say I’m still there), If I was a 60%er i’d be encouraging WOT to keep the current MM cause it plays to their (our) benefit by keeping the teams unbalanced.

I watched the Blitz Live-stream today. WG did talk about this subject. Correctly they know the root cause of the issue is the poor player base. Their idea, for now, is some player base education.

While I think that is a great idea. I do not think it will be the best solution. Some moderate checks need to be in place to stop the casuals from failing their way up to the top tiers.

I mean their plan is like getting a new puppy and the buying a video on how to house train it. They watch it... but not actually do what the training the video suggests. Then wondering why your dog pees all over the house.

As long as players can pay their way to tanks, nothing will be done to stop it, because that is how they make their money, and everyone in WOTBlitz wants to continue to get paid.

Players should be grouped by WR and experience like they do in most sports leagues/tourney’s.  That would keep the newbies interested cause they would be playing with folks their own skill level. Still encouraging them to spend money, but making it a fun experience overall.

Need to add my two-bits here.  Just had a game at teir 7/8 with 6 teammates over 25K in battles and 6 of us over 50% WR.  Red team had one over 25K, two between 15k and 20K, and just two with WR over 50%. We won7-1, although wasn’t much of a game.

Had a previous game where we had 2 over 20K in battles and 3 with WR over 50%.  Red team had 5 over 20K battles and 6 WR over 50%.  We lost 2-7, wasn’t much fun either.

Wargaming needs to include experience, overall WR and tank specific WR in their MM. It can’t be that hard........

Well almost...except that the root cause of current poor player base is 3.hate.

WARGAMING WILL NOT FIX ANYTHING BY "FIXING" THE MATCH MAKING. WOT BLITZ NEEDS A NEW RATING SYSTEM, INDIVIDUAL NOT GROUP. (Win rate is group)

No.  This is a team based game and you should be rated by how well you do as a part of said team.

If you find that you lose more often then you win it may be time for you to admit that "the team" isn't the problem...

I think they need like a tutor system or something that forces players to reach a certain level of achievement before they can advance up the tiers.  I dont know, its ugly out there. Too many steam roll games. Just had a 3 potato team and two more had less than 300 dmg. Greens gone in 60 seconds..

I'm really looking forward to the rumored change to matchmaking.  Setting a max of 3 of a tank type per team will be a huge win.

Setting a max of 3 id-iots per team would be a huge win. But I am not holding me breath.

   Bingo.

I've noticed something in the game chat about rigged MM, quite often now one sees in a replay - why the player thinks MM is rigged.

They are generally playing a tier they are clueless in and dragging their team down horribly.

In this game today -- one of the reds pipes up about rigged MM.

They died third last on their team.

They did 296 dmg in an Obj-140

Out of curiosity I look at his stats -- he's a walking bag of hammers, so yes he does have rigged MM in high tiers, he's his teams F'ing boat anchor.

Red's Patton pushed on me - but their E 50 M and the 140 stayed back - after our STB died.

So they lost the Patton, and then the E 50 M, and then the 140...

Well on load up he saw GRIM, SRT, and Crusader6.

Pretty sure many a inexperienced player would say it’s rigged bases on loaded up screen.

How would an inexperienced player have what clans to look out for memorized already?

Also the DRSIA guys are fairly competent -- if either the 140 or the E 50 M had supported the Patton on me, red won.

I suspect he was fairly unhappy with the 140 post game...

DRSIA guys can be pretty good but I figure most players still don’t know that, but most do know the best clans.

I used to have all the elite clans memorized, but they were much more active and prevalent to the point you ran into them often.   There used to be about 10 PRAMO equivalent clans, but most are a shell of themselves now.     All before 3.hate.    You had to know elite clans back in the day because they were in game so often.

So I never realized the full weight of Crew Skills effect on game play especially when those skill are Lvl7 and if I am reading some guides correctly (There is NO ingame explanation of Crew Skills to explain this function, at least that makes sense).  I mean I read the stats, etc and never really put much thought into them because I NEVER see them activate during a battle, only during replays so it never meant as much until I started watching top tier player replays and then my own in comparison. The replays on top tier show Crew Skills activating in rows almost non-stop on whatever class of tank they play.  It is seriously like watching some old MMO Raid Buff abilities lighting up and "magic" happens.

I was always wondering, how do people snap shot with a gun that size from across the map, how are they doing so much damage, etc, etc.  The light bulb came on watching replays and seeing rows of skills activate for players whom obviously have nearly every skill leveled to 7.

So if MM doesn't take into WR, perhaps it should be at the VERY least taking into account the Crew Skills trained and if Crew SP is not 100%.  Basically I no longer blame the players for the most part or wonder "how the hell did they crush us", I now realize the "magic" happening in steamrolls is:

-Player Skill

-Crew Skill

-Tank stats/capability (derpy gun/armor, etc)

-Crew XP at 100% or less

So for us normal people who did not pay to train X # of skills to 7 and do not pay gold to level a crew to 100% on purchase/research we are at a SEVERE disadvantage.  Perhaps that is the only fair way to MM?
