Hey, Now Blitz is out on android I thought I'd give the game a go. I'm liking it so far but playing by touching the screen feels very clunky and awkward.

Has anyone used a controller with Blitz? If so What controllers do you use and What's the game play like with it?

I've been looking at picking up an Ipeg pg-9023 controller but I'm not sure if it will work or not?

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Bobo

I think the original touch screen would work best. Its alot more easier and precise but I guess you wouldn't have to worry about accidentally using a adrenaline at the start of battle.

With the way the camera moves all over the place, it seems like a controller would be awkward. Let us know if it works though.

I almost used one because my left thumb and wrist were aching so bad...Bought a blue tooth one from Best Buy...took it back.

I just sucked it up and now drink heavily instead.  So far so good.

I play on nvidia shield tablet using the shield controller. Works flawless. Steerig and aiming works great. Shield tablet is the best way to play this on android.

I would really like to use my Moga on the Android release... scoured the internet looking for a way to do it, nothing yet.

Anybody figure this out yet? Is there any answers?

I have the Nvidia shield tablet and controller. Works great, but feels better with the touch screen.

My finger accidentally hit the -1 instead of +1, I'm very sorry.

I'm back!

You still remember me right?

No?

Hey everybody I use a Moga Pro Controller successfully on WoT Blitz for Android. As you know the Moga looks just like a XBOX game pad. I use the controller on B Mode (HID). Im not sure this works on iPads, im not and iPad user. Just Pair your device under B Mode and left stick is maneuver, right stick is aim. Buttons are for consumables.  Left trigger is zoom. Right trigger is fire.  I personally love playing on the game pad so much easier to play this way.

Can't help with the android but I use the Mad Catz CTRLi with my iPad mini.  It took me a few hundred games to get the hang of controlling from the screen.  The Mad Catz took more for two reasons; my whole life I have been an inverted Y axis player, and I didn't adjust the camera and joystick speeds.  Since overcoming the first problem (still make mistakes sometimes) and adjusting the sliders waaaaay down on the sticks, my game success is starting to come back up with the MC.

If there is controller lag, it isn't affecting my games but here in Saudi my ping is normally in the 200 range so it doubt I could tell if it was.  It is nice to connect my iPad to the TV and play as if I were on one of my xBoxes.  Hopefully, either Wot or Mad Catz will incorporate inverted Y.

BTW, I still play a lot of games on the screen, just not all the time now. And now I leave the sliders where I set them for the controller and my screen play is much better too.

PS:  The best part of all this is NO ARTY!

Tincore is the best way to play with moga. I have contacted Moga and they won't add support unless someone in the community or wargamming does it. Ridiculous since it is Mogas device.

Tincore is a royal pain to set up and is overloaded with options. Without a doubt the most non user friendly app ever. I do know it works...I just can't figure it out.

I tested the option B HID on Blitz last night and it worked! Could not get it to work in the main menu so I did not think it would work. Moga even said it does not work but when I started a match it did! Darn shame I did not start using it earlier as I am too used to screen controls now. The Hero is too small for my hands to use effectively for WoT Blitz but it works great for emulators. I may have to get a Pro for blitz.

I have a Moga Pro Power and everything works great except left trigger won't zoom most of the time (oddly sometimes it does work). So obviously this makes it unusable. Does anyone know of a fix? The Moga universal driver is not compatible with the newer pro power so I use the Pivot app on b mode.

The tincore key mapper is the way to get the trigger on the moga pro to work. Of course in HID mode. Also I figured out how to get a USB mouse properly working for targeting. And its just like WoT for PC. And boy is it awesome... Having fun using the usb mouse. No kidding guys your android device is powerful. Use it to the full. There's no other mobile device so versatile as Android.

An XBox controller will work, but it has to be corded. If u have a wireless one, it has to be the one with the wireless receiver that has the usb plug.
